I found out that I' m pretty good at both

I hope that wasnt the game...

Quote: "This game looks awesome and scary! Havent played the demo yet tho, waiting for my new pc. IF you want some custom demonic sounds email me. if you don't believe me when I saw they are realistic and scary, then ask bloody games. I have been doing work for him nd the stuff has been really high quality."

Thanks, but no I prefer to record most of the creature sounds myself
Quote: "
Looks really nice and all, but one thing - are we going to see any other environments? Just that second level screen looks identical to the first level screens."

Loads of the screens posted before are also from level 2 (dante creature etc.)
This is a 3 Level Game, and the Asylum setting is pretty much a large part of the concept. You will see some other stuff, like dream passages, surreal levelparts and some offices, but the whole game takes place in a nightmarish asylum.

-------------------------------------------------------

Okay guys! Some of the screens turned out too dark because testgame doesnt work and I have to launch the "FPSC - Game" .exe manually after testbuild. That results in way too dark images.

Another Cellblock leading to the offices.

I just love the athmosphere in this shot. The warm light from the window gives it such a wrong tranquility.

The Hallway you`ll fight the Angor.

Bond1 has some serious talent when it comes to enemy design. I love the Lobotomy!

This is a key place of the games story.

Aggressive Lobotomy. (censored version. explicit content removed.)

Cold Hallway

So! As you might noticed, I added another version of the lobotomy.

Theres also a cool new Riddle in level 2 that will prove if you can think out of the box

The Screens are still kinda WIP. I dont concider it a spoiler telling you guys that the whole story will be revealed in level 2 and find an end in level 3. I dont plan to add any additional levels...it would ruin the game. If I stretch it...the enemys will get boring and the game would lost its spice (Doom3 made that mistake in my opinion.)

Expect more screens soon

-Wolf

--------------------------------------------------------------

And to finish: a new, a bit gory one:

And yes, the lobotomy rulez!

OMG WOLF!!! Those screens are soooo amazing!
I love the 6th one, and I'd ask where you get all those photos of women, but I won't ask, because you said not to ask where you get stuff.
But really, I can't wait until this is finished...

Awesome screens! I love your work! The lighting is great, the design is good and... well... everything is great! Nice work!

OH! And in the first post in this whole thread: Take a look at the part in the beginning that says "Deprivation: Direct Action"

Well, it actually there reads like this: "Deprivationirect Action"

Just to point out...

Hey, Wolf I had a question.

Your lighting effects are suburb, yet I was wondering if you use multiple lights to get your effect. For example a mix of a white light with a yellowish light (I won't mention hexcodes). I don't want to copy you, yet thats what I do but your lights seem to merge together so much better. Like in your hallway where the windows lights are seamless to the hallways whitish-gray lighting.

Just a simple yeah I do that or no I do something "secret" will be a fine answer If it is yes, than I guess I should simply work on my hexcodes and find colours that work with eachother.

Using Techniques other people use isn' t copying No, I do not use multiple lights, just really dark colors and wide lightranges.

How did you get those windows to glow like that?

Did you apply a different shader to it? And what is the hexcode fore the light you are using?

Tried the beta and it worked great If I could add you on msn I would be happy to make you some free scripts because I would really like to have this turned into a full game

(I have managed to get auto movement and inventory scripts so far and they have all worked a treat )

Placeing one light isn' t really a technique But I will try that color mixing, Cyclone suggested.

No Problem

-----------------------------------------------

I finally updated to 1.16 so I can build multiple levels without getting errors together with fenix mod. But I have the following issues and I hope you people can help:

-( You can see the blob shadows where the enemies should spawn

-( The Framerate is lower

-( I cannot build the lightmaps of the older euthanasia levels

-( Walking speed and camera/mousespeed is slower which is terrible

-( Shooting Speed of the Pistol while aiming is reduced o.O

-( Builded Lightmap has errors and ugly pixels.

Love the surreal feeling in those shots, it's definitely showing the desperation the player encounters in that "dream of death".

The atmosphere in your shots is still undefeated and I can't wait to get my hands on the full game.

...................................................

Alright people: I have a few innovations in the game.

But first: I found that my game is pretty...defining. There are few projects that use euthanasia pretty much as orientation and the amount of x-ray graphics in games is amounting xD

But well... Fuzz asked for the ironsights:

Should be this:

Quote: "simplezoomx=-3
simplezoomy=1.6
simplezoommod=2"

Anyway: I have added a few new things like silhouettes of x rays and demonic faces that are moveing over the walls (yeah! this will be really cool!) and some shader stuff for more surreal levelparts.

I' m thinking if I should add another level with a boss enemie or not...but well...lets finish this one first. And I startet to draw first graphics for the introvideo.

Here are a few random shots to keep you guys entertained

And well... listen to Metal and drink beer.

I wholeheartedly agree wolf, I wholeheartedly agree.

also, very nice screenshots, but I cant help but get tired of the lighting colours, I understand if youre trying to keep familiarity, but mix it up a bit? it's getting old- especially that blueish one. I swear I've seen it before.
