No really a fail. I'm not exactly
discussing religion, I'm merely offering up my email address and saying that I'm a Buddhist. The reason religious discussion is banned is because they can end pretty badly as people can end up being offended or others acting immature.

It depends on the definition of 'religion' you listen to, some definitions include Buddhism, some don't. Because 'legally' it's a religion and for the sake of argument, I refer to it as a religion. It is compatible with other religions, though it can depend on how you follow the other religion, some denominations can actually clash.
