I just got back from Freshman Orientation at my university. Met my roommate and several other cool guys in my wing. Someone decided we needed nicknames.

To anyone with experience ordering laptops from Dell: Does it actually take them 25 days to assemble and ship a laptop, or is that an exaggerated estimate to prevent angry customers? I just ordered mine today, and it's supposed to be shipped on August 24th. I leave for college on the 22nd.

You do realise "ship" is when it's given to Postman Pat to bend so it'll fit inbetween two other boxes in his van? Not when it's meant to arrive at your door in a L shape? And that means there'll be even more days after?

Well, that was the "preliminary ship date". I find it hard to believe that it would take 25 days to put a few components together and seal it in a box. The only thing I customized was the processor and warranty, so it's not like they would have to find special parts for it anyway.

Companies always inflate the shipping times - I've even ordered some stuff from Amazon with an estimated shipping time of 6 weeks and recieved it in less than 2.

Hypocrisy they have been named in the solstice of my grave,
I fear not the darkening shadow on my embering candle,
This life was lived to the end of the stock,
The past is mine and not to be judged,
For who are you to question my motives,
You sit on hidesight and laugh at the dead,
I leave you all with all i could.
My last yern learn from my mistakes...

Am feeling nostalgic today after i learned that the oldest man in Britian died at the age of 113 years. This man had lived over three eras and fought in WWI and 2. His life in hidesight was forfilling and he died with no regrets and is to be burried with comrades. If only we could be so lucky.

What am working on at the moment, Turan, old passion of mine. Its been a struggle to bring him into 3d since am so used to pencil and paper. Ah with great struggle comes... who cares? lol

Ill throw up some work here an thier from my scrapbook.
Its been a while since i done the anatomy of a dragon, I am going for the dog/cat structure thoguh larger with a more defined chest/ lower back. Any advice would be appreciated,

cheers -cb
