Well... i don't know surely, but you can try it, download trial version or demo of FPSC X10 if it exist and you'll see.

I have ATI Radeon 1600 - 1650 Pro, so it'l not work in FPSC X10 Because It's DX9, but i'll buy some new things

So try it, you'll not loose nothing

Nice day to you.

GeForce 8800 GT

works great, ran the FPSCX10 technology demo ultra-smooth, runs bioshock full graphics great, and crysis at medium-ish graphics (even with my low 1GB ram eaten up by vista)

im thinking of getting this:

SINGLE 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GT graphics card

Quote: "GeForce 8800 GT

works great, ran the FPSCX10 technology demo ultra-smooth, runs bioshock full graphics great, and crysis at medium-ish graphics (even with my low 1GB ram eaten up by vista)"

without getting noob slapped is it the ram or the graphics card that is making u run crysis at medium-ish graphics (i dont know wt crysis at medium-ish graphics is...) also is there much diffrence with lag and such between the actual fpscreatorx10 and the FPSCX10 technology demo ultra-smooth.

i havent been on (this forum) for a while but now i have finished my exams im getting a new pc i was thinking of this with the graphics card mentioned above and the correct specs for fpscx10http://configure.euro.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?b=&c=uk&cs=ukdhs1&kc=DRS63001&l=en&m_30=147353&oc=D06X601&rbc=D06X601&s=dhs (hope the link works) do u think this is worth the money? (im in the uk)

I got a new puter duo core 3Ghz 3G ram GeForce 8500GT 512mb, and X10 is running slow and/crashes 9:10 times.
What exactly is the point of offering a product that has so many restrictions with more limitations than advantages.
Very disappointed in wasting my money on this so far.

My computer specs and FPSC X10 works perfectly on it.

Aspire M5200

AMD Phenom(tm) 9550 Quad-Core Processor

ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

Sure

it realy must work perfectly, because when i saw your RAM mamories, i want now these too i need them i have 1 GB and Ram memories are so cheap but motherboards are expensive, well if we think we need some monster one some 6 Ghz in two cores... or 6Ghz in 2 cores to 2 cores so 4...

but these specs are great... i even don't have Radeon HD, but i have Radeon X1600 1650pro

Sure it isn't working with DX10... because it's the newest version of Radeon X for DX9 with newer ones... for example Radeon X1950 pro ultimate, or the realy newest but now expensive some X2150 crossfire or something ... yeah something like that

I think Radeon graphics and Ge-Force graphics have BIG competetion...

I don't know better graphics to choose, but there is more new graphic types... i don't know that third one right now... good too...

If i'll buy something new, it must be great for next few years, some big machine you know what i mean... I'm preparing for Half Life 2 Episode 3 and Half Life 3, it'll ROCK!

Well... i don't know sure friend

Look at first page of this forum, you'll see there that 8600 GTS is untested so probably there aren't some good results... exactly no results... but i think you can try it you'll see... DX10 it is so you can try it...

I hope it'll work for you

Everything is great for FPSC X10 only one thing'll be problem and that's GTX 8600... i said some few days ago something about 8600, i think they don't test it, so i don't know if it'll work correctly, but try it...

So only Graphics

I Hope it helps

I've just upgraded to a new PC, which I'm very chuffed with, but will these specs run X10 well?

*Vista Home Premium, (better than I thought Vista would be),

*3.5Gb RAM,

*320Gb Hard Drive,

*AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 5000+,

*Radeon X1300 GFX Card,

Allright, here my specs and the outcome:

Acer Spire Notebook
Dual Core Centrino 2 * 1.86 GHZ
2 GB RAM
Geforce 8600 M GT 256 MB RAM

FPSC X10 works, test levels are running between 14 and 40 fps - however you feel that the GFX is underweighted for FPSC X10.

Come to where the madness is:

I'm thinking about buying a good card at a budget price.
Circuit City has a Nvidia 9600GT for $130.00 and from what
I've seen on Nvidia's website, its shown on-par with a 8800GT
but maybe just a slight performance difference. It's listed under
the "Performance" category. Pray tell me that it will work 100%.

I've got a Phenom X4 and 4 GB Ram.
I don't think a 8800GT at $100 more for a 2-7 FPS
increase means anything. I'm just hoping it is 100% compatible?
I need to know before I buy the 9600GT.

Thanks
