I have ordered a new PC.

Will this run FPS Creator X10?
Please advice

---

A computer with:

Graphics Card GeForce 9600M GT
Graphics Card (MB) 512
Graphics Card Memory Shared (MB), 2303
Direct X10 with Shader 4.0

Will this run FPS Creator X10?
And how good will it do that?

The computer Also has Vista and 4 Gb ram.
Duo Core as well.

Processor, type Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor, number T9400
RAM, type DDR2

Q:

The Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT is a DirectX 10 graphics card for notebooks andsuccessor to the 8600M GT. Compared to the 8600M GT or 9500M GS, the 9600M GT was produced in 65nm (allows higher clock rates with the same current consumption) and features a new PureVideo HD video processor (VP3) and HybridPower support.

Hi Guys,

As an additional development machine I recently bought a Dell XPS M1530.

This laptop has an Nvivia GeForce 8600M GT with 256Mb. Other stats are 2.1Ghz Dual Core 2 and 3GB Ram with 250GB HD.

Vista reports a Windows Experience Score of 5.9 for graphics.

This runs FPSC X10 absolutely fine. Games run very well both test and compiled.

Hope this helps.

It ran always at more than 30 frames per second on the following custom system, even with water and all that stuff:

ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 512MB RAM
Screen Resolution 1280x1024
Windows Gaming Graphics Experience score: 5.4
All other scores on 5.9 except Hard Drive 5.7
Intel Core Quad CPU @2.40 Ghz
2 GB RAM of DDR 800
ASUS P5KC Motherboard
Windows VISTA Ultimate 32 Bit

Also worked as expected on an Alienware Area m15 laptop with nVIDIA 8800 GTX 512 MB and Intel Dual Core 2.8 Extreme and 2 GB RAM, but you already knew that.

Ahem. My 8800 GT 512 MB owns pretty much everything, even on Vista. X10 is running with all effects and about 10 characters in a simple room with 500-200 FPS and no lag. I can run Crysis on highest everything at highest res and 16x AA.

Specs: 8800 GT 512 MB
Intel dual core 3.0GHz
2GB of gaming RAM with some kind of silver heatsink on each side.
Some kind of gaming motherboard that supports it all well.
450W PSU

The only issue with X10 besides a huge amount of bugs with model pack 3 is the aspect ratio, which is very wierd, everything is streched sideways quite a bit. Maybe its my 15" LCD monitor, but a way to modify the aspect ratio would be great.

P.S. After reading some posts here:

Vista gaming score: 5.6

Everything is 5.9 except the Processor, which is 5.6

Well I know most of this is very old here but how I seen everyone talking about that you need very new video card to power this FPS for vista so I just had to test it out on this system and it ran great and fast for me.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Series Processor (1864 MHz)
Memory: 2029 MB
OS Version: Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (Build 6001)
Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Graphics Card: GeForce 7900 GS/PCI/SSE2
OpenGL Version: 2.1.2

Intel sure does rock for games and so does Geforce. I hope to get the money up for new geforce card soon.

I have a 8600 geForce and it works well enough to make a respectable game with. Just don't go overboard with effects and entities.

Would it work with my NVIDIA GeForce 7000M/nForce 610M? Do I need to save up for a new laptop? Do I need to wait for the migration? I just put down what my computer said it is so I'm not quite sure which one it is.
