Hi guys here is the mini update v0.8.You will notice that the curved wall is a standalone segment for compatibility issues I left out the corners so you would need to extent the wall at each end to close the gaps...

enjoy

Do we delete the old install before adding this one?

@CoffeeGrunt

No this is a small add on and doesn't contain any fixes.

@apple slicer
To enable the perfect curved and not look blocking I increased the faces from the normal 24 to 50 faces.It is not that high.

Hi guys

Will be adding 4 new door types to the collection and they are as follows:

The door type will allow you to place the door segment over two segments so in other words your door will in a two segment room be right in the middle instead of the sides
Check the screenshot if you don’t understand.

This collection will include the:
Missing doors
Bulged doors
Broken doors
Normal doors

I have also decided to make some improvements to the wall grate with better textures and frame. I will also be looking at upgrading the vent some time in the future.

I’m busy working on a seamless floor grate with pipes.

If there is any thing else in the current collection you would like me to upgrade or have a look at it will be a good time now.

Enjoy.

Hi guys will be uploading another mini update maybe today or tomorrow.

The seamless grate didn't take too long and decided to add more ceiling window types with the seamless grate texture.I also added another ceiling light type and will also be apply the new seamless grate to the one wall light.

Now you can add a light on top of the grate and get a nice shadow effect.

More great variations. I especially like the door that can be placed in the center of two segments. That's always been a need for me.

Best.

Thanks I'll try I have a massive ear infection and have gone deaf in the one ear quite painful.

Yeah as always a small little preview of the other wall light type.
I like the look but it does need some fine tunning...

Also next on my little list of things to do is a curved grate.Lucky for me I have the meshes already made it's just the uv mapping and importing...

The wall light preview.

I stand by my opinion that people like you deserve an award.

No it does not work with X10 or has limited success...

Gave me an error?Isn't very helpful to sorting your problem.

However for all mini updates to work correctly previous updates needs to be installed.

The last update was version 0.7 and the mini 0.8 and 0.9 respectively

Guys as a side note version 1.0 is due in the next two weeks or so.
This is the final version that will contain the final files and completed sections of doors and window textures.

So in other words the beta testing is over...Also the scifi upgrade is now completed.

I will be looking at migrating the X9 media to X10 over the next few weeks...You will also find one or two added segments and some meshes being removed due to compatibility issues...

I hope you enjoyed all the new media that has been added..

wizard of id- What program did you do the modeling in? I have been making my own textures for my game, but I want them to "stand out" polygon wise.

@Apple Slicer

Between Milkshape and XSI Softimage.The problem as such is not every texture will fit a model or the other way around since I 99% of the times work with segments that is far less poly crazy can't really comment on higher polygon models.

But talking about higher poly models I'm working on a super 5 mesh segment....

Guys here is a screeny of the next WIP pack I have in mind.This In think is taking things to a whole new level...

This took about 3 hours(still a Wip reducing poly's manual reducing of polys takes ages aaarghh) and will form part of a scifi wall machine pack......

Enjoy
Feedback as always is welcomed
