That means one of the segments is looking for a mesh that it can't find, open the segments fps file and you'll see "meshnamenumber", see if the mesh that they are pointing to is there.

The scifi upgrade doesn't fully support X10 and there are known problems which I can do nothing or little about.

I'm planning a future project that will only be X10.

WWII project is taking much longer due to trying to get it working in both X9 and X10.

As a side note I will be releasing the CSG's tommorow afternoon this will be a standalone add on for X9 only and later on for X10.

I'm busy Finishing a project now and will be free a bit later on today to release the fixes as well as new CSG's.

I learned a new trick while working on a another project which allows me to combine 3 and more pieces into a single CSG via boolean operations that works and cuts walls without any problems or errors still only X9 but I'm working on a solution for X10 and should have the X9 cutters converted to x10 soon.

This new method opens a new world of possibilities and will even allow me to make cutters that will cut walls and CSG floors at the same time.

Enjoy

Hi guys

After some testing and playing around I got a round ceiling that looks good...This is a two part segment that you can extent as far as you want.

I have added two more CSG's and fixed the straight train tracks. Will be looking at adding more rooms and adding debris to add to your CSG broken walls as well as adding a broken bridge section.Whats WWII with
out a bombed bridge.

So if all works out the new beta 3 will be out on Sunday.

I am a bit confused about downloading the media with all of these updates. Can you post links to all the work completed so far?
I am just asking, not trying to be demanding or anything. Thanks

thanks.

Well here is the next WIP.Since I have added the train tracks why not a bridge. This is only the top part of the bridge still researching to find a proper bottom part of the bridge but I think I have found a good one...

I have decided that all previous ones was either on gut feeling or form what I can remember from seeing ones I'll be making 3 new realistic bridges starting with this one the train bridge.

I found two other bridges one that was build in 1933 which fits the theme well. And the other more adventures one in down town Pittsburgh USA.This one doesn't fit the theme well but I will take bits and pieces to make it work.

I'm glad someone finally got up and did this, stock media gets boring really quick. I know this is extremely hard to do, but can you make hands for the weapons? or at least one? You could just make a mesh, because people with model packs could use hand textures.

So far the scifi upgrade doesn't work with X10 and everything else does? Because I want those holes in the walls so bad!!

Great work so far, keep it up.

Well I have spoken to cosmic prophet and we might be joining forces some time or another in the near future to work on the biggest pack seen on this forum I mean huge...Special combinations segments that will allow 100's even thousands of segment combinations....

Still toying around with the bridge top support to find some thing that I like..but still some what disappointed so I'm going to skip this one for now and move onto the 1933's bridge.

You wanted them here they are...

Will be adding 45 degree ones as well depending how FPSC likes the collision detection. But I have found a way around. You can have as much detail on the segments without getting stuck in the floor entities shouldn't have a problem as well

Hi guys

Things have been going rather slow the last few days.As I'm trying out new ideas or updating/improving meshes...

I'm in the process of testing every thing and should have the new beta up tomorrow to test out.

I have added some debris a new railing for the bridge and in the process on adding outside walls and meshes to improve the outside
look also reworked the tunnel system to allow tjunctions and corners.I all goes well I will have a cave segment of 3 levels by 4 segments large ready tomorrow as well....

Hi Guys

Things aren't working out as I had planned. The new indoor segments I have made are multi textured as well as some outdoor segments.

So I'm currently texture hunting to find suitable textures that can be used freely easier said than done.

Rick allowed the meshes for the scifi upgrade. So I will run the texture problem by him as well and see if I can get the problem solved.

Made a new support beam grate and pillar...There are more of these
planned as well as rope and chain and wire entities....

I guess it's the simple things that give a realistic look to levels
Door frames odd don't you think.

Planning on making a 4 segment large rounded hangerbay frame...
I'm working now on a new lift with a wire mesh frame...some thing more realistic then what we have now...

You might have noticed that I have moved to in door segments.I have left out the cave segments and a few other stuff out as well as the terrains.

The new bridges stay but I decided against having terrains and caves in general outdoor segments.Reason behind this is the sheer amount of segments that needed to be created to allow a realistic look and feel. It's easier to make for example a terrain that suits
the need for a specific section of a level and can then be created as needed based on the area it needs to fit in.

Trying to make a terrain that needs to be compatible with 100's of level designs is easier said that done and seriously limits the shapes and sizes. The time needed is also insane.

So I decided that I'm going to keep it indoors with some basic outdoor segments and this will allow much more time spent on getting small things done that combined leaves a better pack much like the scifi upgrade with 100's of small segments that makes levels look better.
