If you're asking how others are getting on with their entries. I've got a story and three levels planned, I'm almost finished with the first level but I'm having some fairly drastic performance issues. (A drop from 42 fps to 0 frames and then back to 42 fps without changing POV). Hopefully I'll have solved this tonight but I'm really trying to work on some effective outdoor scenes, hence the lag..

Or are you asking to see screen shoots of WIP?

Well, I finally got around to doing something about my level, but now that I've added characters I get an average 20fps

Sorry to hear that Toasty. Perhaps you could keep some of your characters in an unspawned state until the player approaches. That will keep them from processing until necessary and will save you some frames. (This is how the big boys do it, too )

Sorry for the bump, but I just want to let everybody know that I'm quitting the comp. I've rebuilt my level about seven times from the ground up, and now that it's finally working the AI is horrible and so is the frame rate.

Sorry guys.

Wait! Don't give up! Did you try Project Blue? I don't know if S4 put it in the latest release, but we've been working on improving the speed of the AI. At the very least you'll be able to get a playable and stable framerate, if not a spectacular one.

@Toasty:

Sorry to hear you're having problems. I don't know what the issue is with your level. As you know, we both have a very similar rig, and the entire thing ran fine on my comp.

I hope Project Blue comes through for ya, though.

@NAACP gotme:

Can do, I'll add you to the list. Don't rush into a WIP, though. Get something done first. At least one level with something to show would be good to start a WIP on.

@FPSCrocks:

Alright, I'll take you off the list and put you on the list for judges.

@JRH:

It has, but most of the good stuff's gone, like ironsights and recoil, which is why I made all those custom weapons in the first place

Sorry for the new post.

I've been working on some tasty's:

Blurred/Drugged Script Effects:

Player is Slow
Weapons are extremely innacurate
Player blanks out and wakes up every now and then
Player cannot jump
A few voice overs for it

Thermal Imaging Script/Fix:
Pressing the 'T' key activates this treat.
Working on thermal see through objects.

So far my levels don't lag at all. I'm being careful, to keep it this way.

Use camstudio. Or if you have Windows Vista Home Premium or higher, you can use fraps to record programs!!! And games. If you have Home Basic, you can only record games.

You replace the FPSC-Game.exe in your FPS Creator folder with the Mod. You must also have V1.07-V1.09 of FPSC installed before copying the Mod in.
