I m a passionated writer (in german) and so, I invenvted a really dark Story. I want to insceneate it a bit Film Noir like and what I have till now is already great, I think. I`m working hard on it, and it will look much better than my actual Main Project Missing in Action (WiP Board). But I also started to work on the Corpses (The Plot: Youre a Thief who decided to become honest because he fell in love. He left his home town and moved to an obscure hood. His Girfriend found a Job in a Sexshop, but then, one night she disappeared. You went to her workplace , where the other seller told you that she has left an hour ago. Then a disgusting guy talked to you out of the shadow from the shelve where they store the harder stuff that a lot of girls disappear in this place, and that he might know where she is, the trace brought you to an old building where they are turning very special movies for very special audience... ok, my english is pretty crappy, the most of the storie is surprise anyway).

I really wanted the game to be shocking, so I have a lot of tied female corpses, and things like scalpels in ... well, you know where... Is this against the AUP or something?

Your story sounds very interesting, Wolf! You're definitely a horror artist.

Your idea will most likely be against the AUP on many different levels, however, as I've mentioned, I do not wish to restrict anyone in this competition. So if your entry is against the AUP, simply email it to me for judging when you're finished and, uh... keep it off the board so you don't get into trouble, ok?

I'll consider joining, but since I can't build a game with Ply's Mod or Project Blue, how can I submit something?

I'm gonna have to drop out of this, since I don't own a commercial version of Ply's Mod, and I need that to make this, (all my maps only work with PMV1.09 now)...

I may have to drop out, maybe not, for a few reasons:
1) I can't get motivated to work on my game.
2) I don't own a commercial version of Project Blue UM.

Since my UT3 Editor has been dying on me each and every day, and the only way to fix it is a reinstall, I might start working on my game again. So don't count me out yet.

And, by the way...
BUMP!

Reminder for everyone!

23 days until the contest is over! Now would be a good time to wrap up the levels and get them optimized.

I've made a game and was just wondering if I can enter my game into this competition and the ultimate competition?

Or do I have to pick just one?

As long as your game follows the rules, then I don't why you can't enter it. Was it made after the competition started? (If so, then yes, you may enter it)

Hey ply i did something that i truly believe should take me of the judging panel. No i didnt offend anyone, but i made a stupid gesture to another member which ruins my crediblity as a judge and as punishment i should be removed.

Fair enough. You're hearby removed from judging. A simple "I can't judge anymore" would have sufficed, though.

I may have to drop, since I can't get anything working properly anymore. I reinstalled FPSC (This total took 1/2 an hour), up'ed to 1.09, downloaded the 1.08 version of your mod, and reinserted it. But For some reason my lights still dont work, There is no fog, and I have the crappy white outlined scorch and blood

Perhaps we could work out a deal, say I could help you out, so that I can get a 1.15 license

Count me out too.. I didn't realize that I had to use an existing MOD.
I have been so involved creating my own MODS that I will not have my game finished by the due date anyhow..

Sorry..

I will possibly drop out. Ply, if I haven't entered a game when it's over, just go on with judging. If I finish it, great. If I don't, just don't worry.

I've as good as finished my game, I'm just solving some bugs and optimizing performance. A few voice overs for NPCs and I'll have something playable (not the default AI).

Anyway, I'd happily donate to the cause of third place with any/all of my store media, if you think its worthy?

Best of luck to my competitors,

Just realised, not much of my new media has been added to the GC Store! I've completed my game, but found a major bug with FPSC. I really think I'll have to drop out, unless I get this fixed. If I drop out, any chance of becoming a judge. I'd really like to see some of these games! But only if I can't get my game to work...

If you game does not go against the AUP of the boards, you may post it here in a .zip or .rar format. PLEASE no installation programs.

I hope you can get your game working, I would hate to see another drop-out.

Hmm...so does that mean when we submit our entries we cannot use any software to protect access to our custom media/scripts?

Protection programs are fine. I understand you wanting to protect your media. What I mean by installation programs is a program that installs files onto your computer. Protection programs normally act as an initializer to the program and only extract files at run-time, meaning the files are not permanent.

ARGH!!!
I can't get FPSC to load one of my levels, and without a doubt the most important. I know I'll be too busy to remake it so I'm sorry I really think I might have to drop out. Fingers crossed I can fix it on time for the deadline.
