There's one in pack 5 I think.

To be honest, I'd rather see guns that haven't been made yet.

pp-19 Bizon... >.> Yes I <3 Bizon...

Fort12: A pistol produced for the Ukrainian police force, which replaced the PM. Improved accuracy, ergonomics, and a larger magazine, but is less reliable.
Mag size: 12,
Ammunition: 9x18mm,

Fort14: An experimental prototype of the Fort 12 pistol, designed to be its successor.
Mag Size: ?,
Ammunition: 9x18mm,

PB 6P9: A pistol with an integrated silencer and used by the Soviet special forces. An outdated weapon, but is still very effective in skillful hands.
Mag Size: 8,
Ammunition: 9x18mm,

Walther P9: An excellent pistol. A highly accurate and reliable gun with a high capacity magazine.
Mag Size: 16,
Ammunition: 9x19mm,

SIG Sauer P220:A pistol developed in 1975, yet it is still popular around the world. Has a low capacity magazine, but is extremely reliable and used the high-powered .45 ACP round.
Mag Size: 7,
Ammunition: .45 ACP,

Winchester M1300: A very reliable, smooth-bore, pump-action shotgun made for use in hostile environments.
Mag Size: 6,
Ammunition: 12x70,
12x76,

TOZ-34: This hunting shotgun is popular, but there's nothing noteworthy about it.
Mag Size: 2,
Ammunition: 12x70,
12x76,

AN-94 Abakan: The weapon of the elite troops in the Russian Army. Designed as a replacement for the outdated AK-74. The Abakan's receiver and barrel are movable, which helps decrease recoil and increase accuracy.
Mag Size: 30,
Ammunition: 5.45x39 mm,

Groza OC-14 (5.45 mm): A Groza OC-14 with a modified barrel, which allows the rifle to utilize the more available 5.45mm round.
Mag Size: 20,
Ammunition: 5.45x39 mm,

FN F2000:A modern bullpup assault rifle, equipped with an electronic fire control module and a 40-mm grenade launcher.
Mag Size: 30,
Ammunition: 5.56x45 mm,

SIG SG-550: A relatively new assault rifle utilizing the 5.56x45 mm SS109 round. This weapon is very popular due to its accuracy, soft recoil, and high reliability.
Mag Size: 30,
Ammunition: 5.56x45 mm,

Enfield L85A2: After the British Army replaced this rifle with the H&K G36K, the L85 began appearing on the black market in large quantities. The L85's main advantage is a standard 4X scope. Highly accurate, but decreases in Burst fire mode. Internal mechanisms, however, are not reliable and are prone to jamming.
Mag Size: 30,
Ammunition: 5.56x45 mm,

ZM LR-300ML: A light rifle with an effective fire range of up to 300 meters. Great ergonomics and lightweight, this weapon is highly accurate. However, it is sensitive to dirt and is not ideal for difficult field conditions.
Mag Size: 30,
Ammunition: 5.56x45 mm,

VSS Vintorez: A special sniper rifle designed for silenced and suppressed sniper fire. Equipped with an integrated silencer and can pierce any bulletproof vest at a range of up to 400 meters. Highly valued by Mercanaries of any level.
Mag Size: 10,
Ammunition: 9x39 mm,

AS Val: This weapon is based on the VSS Vintorez sniper rifle. However, it has a folding stock, can fire in bursts, and has a larger magazine. Originally designed for special forces units operating in conditions demanding silenced and supressed fire.
Mag Size: 20,
Ammunition: 9x39 mm,

Also sorry if I reapeated stuff or said stuff that you've already done...

Yeah, the Famas would be nice for Légion étrangère themed games. (Dont know what thats in english...foreign legion?)

I would definitly buy the AUG.

The weapons mentioned by Matuka are also cool and they would give a game an Individual touch, but they are a bit more hard to build in your story. I mean, ok, if you have an Specnaz, Tschernobyl,Tunguska whatever russian themed shooter, you would find a Groza OC-14 and an Abakan. But in most gamestorys I`ve red, play in Europe or the USA. These Weapons aren`t really spreaded in those areas. I guess you, Errant, are also interested in wepaons lots of people would buy.

Why I chose them weapons, is to build up the amount of games that are russian themed, games such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R are pretty hard to come by, the only mod I've seen that puts you in the suit of a russian spetnaz is Paranoia for Half-Life, which was arguably one of the best mod's I've ever witnessed on such a old engine.

And well, to be honest, if ErrantAI was to do them weapons I could see some great heaps of insparation from users to do a game fammiliar to a real russian conflict in the past or a made up one that's set in russia. Oh, and I took that list of weapons from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R : SOC list, ^^, for that simple reason...

Other than that I edited my previous post with some info on them.

You have this blackmarket thing also out of STALKER, dont ya?

I don`t really believe that they sell the L85 now in large Quantities. Maybe its true, but FN FAL/ M16 and ov curse AK47 are still Number one on the illegal Market.

Oh, btw, I like old stuff with wood and so on. A Mosin Nagant and ohter older stuff would rock the FPSC.

( But still... STEYR AUG!!)

Lulz, I just replaced "In the zone" with some other lines to form "Sold in large quantities over the black market".

Indeed

[P.A. voice] Please set down the STALKER disc and back away! [/P.A. voice]

If I were to get into old Soviet/RF stuff there are other more widely exported weapons that I'd hit before thinking of some of the more obscure ones on the list.

Yeah, it's the current Australian rifle. My friend is in the cadets, and they do rifle training there. When you get to a high enough rank you get to train with Steyrs instead of 22s.

Off topic; last week he had to stand at attention for an hour and a half

And when you get accepted to SAS you get to use an M4/C8

Seriously though. Been wanting to do AUG and L85 for a long time but haven't found the time to do them.

Just wondering, on average, how long does it take you to model a weapon and texture it? Not including anything after that, like animating.

Modeling and texturing time is #1 directly related to polycount and #2 dependant on how anal I am being because that directly affects how much time is spent on #3 (which is actually job 1) Research and reference collection.

So, something under 1000tris can be done to the same quality in about 1/3 the time of an equal-quality 3000tri model. Less than 1/3 actually if you include the time taken to make the lowpoly VWEAPs and entities because I can usually just reduce the mesh aand use the same texture map (happens a lot with melee weapons) vs. needing to make a new model and new texture map. That said rarely spend more than a day on weapon mesh these days. For a complex model I might take a whole day just to do the UV layout if I want really efficient use of pixel space. I've found that a little extra care in the UV stage has drastic affect on how long/how little time it takes to make the texture.

Well, you cannot make the light used in the led pack as a spotlight, so it cannot be directional. Heavy source mod will be required to get the type of flashlight you are looking for.

@Shadowfire: No, no Death Ray. The Ray gun from CoD: WaW

@EAI:I'd like to see an AA-12 or some other auto shotgun. Actually, the H&K CAWS would be pretty cool. And an H&K UMP. (H&K is my favorite)
