lol. I didn't realise press PrtScr, pasting it into paint, then uploading it took as long to make as a mod. EFXmod did a great job of showing off their mod. in their original thread, they must have had about 10 pictures in a row as soon as it was released.

I've added a new feature to the list and that's fading splash screens, at the beginning of the game you can have up to 3 different pictures fade in and fade out before the main menu is shown.

This feature is optional and is used only when the picture exists in the correct folder.

i have a rather... advanced suggestion.
the reason people are so attracted to multiplayer games is because of gun customization (COD4) right?
cutting to the chase, how about class based multi-player, it could be possible, just have the multiplayer code refer to text files (like a gunspec) all of these would set properties like
the names of a class
the number of classes
what level the player has to be to use the class (or gun)
what gun the player has chosen for the class ( or the gun set for the class)
the model thar gun will refrence
a weapon attachment
the model of the gun with the attachment
etc.

i know that's a lot, but i really wanted to tell someone this (twas thinkin' of it all day )

Actually, I just had a look at the scripts which were included, and there are definatly new conditions in there. It is a real mod, and although some things can be done in the original FPSC, the script is a lot cleaner and easier to understand.

OK, having now actually looked at the scripts, I can also see the new commands too. Sorry I jumped the gun a bit, but honestly, I really did think the 'moving' light was just a sequence of lights.

Might I suggest that, instead of balls for the snow, you use a square with an alpha-channeled snow flake texture? It would look much more realistic. I would also tweek the rain to be a bit more noticable too (maybe it didn't help that it was dark in your demo).

No hard feelings I hope...

That's a bit like the Type 1 snow, I make a plain side and texture it with the snow image in the 'FilesxrMod' folder.

The flashlight looks good, although sometimes the shadows disappear a bit too quickly, but I guess that's an FPSC option. Is there a key to press to switch the flashlight on and off? and is it possible to add a battery which slowly runs out (and maybe even recharge by collecting a battery entity?) Good work

Um, fake? It always gets a error message in the segment part of testing the game. And what are the entitybank, segmentbank, audiobank, etc... for? They are all included in FPSC. If you gave me some help where to put them, that would be very helpful.

Why are you trying to test a game?
It's been blocked so you can't test or build games, it can only be used to play the demo game.

Hey knrxb im not sure if some1 already mentioned this or not but why not merge with wizmod? After all both mods are about the same things and both are missing btus and peices but coming together would fill those holes. With wizmod you could get airmod,water effects,motion blue, bloom etc and than your weather,cod healing style etc. It would be a great idea. Im mentioning this since it sounds great and also that i love your mod and wizmod but i and others wouldn't be able to use both at once.

I've also just finished porting my mod to v1.15 and I'm updating the flashlight demo with the newer version in about an hour.

Nice video man, looking awesome. Shame the video was a bit laggy due to your framerate (usually sudden decline in framerate due to demoing).

I think a cover system would be really really helpful. it would be like the one in killzone, where you can lock against any vertical serfice. oh and you should integrate it with Omega-Bloom-Mod

@Asher- FPSC Isn't capable of anything like that and if it was you would require heavy scripting to get a 3rd person view and than for the locking script....in other words i dont think anyone will bother doing it. Altough i wish fpsc would contain it as well as u.

Omega bloom mod is NOT a mod. Its some simple dlls that seem to work with ANY EXE when activated. Bloom in itself, in fpsc, is not worth it, as already, the fps is really poor.

Why does everyone keep asking for this? Even in games like GoW or R6V2 I don't use the cover system, I just crouch behind stuff. Seriously, it would be a very minor addition, just not needed.

Actually cyclone you obviously have no clue what your talking about, All you would have to do is make the mod so you can attach a model to the the player camera and then set the player's camera to a different view, and get the model to attach to the wall. Its hard but not as hard as other additions that have been implemented into mods.

Only half correct, the gore has been started, it's just not quite finished yet

Also I'm going to have a go at adding Cloth into xrMod using the Cloth & Particles pack in DBPro, if I can make it successfully then you'll be able to have flags, curtains, bedsheets etc..

Hi guys just posting to let you know I'm releasing a new flashlight demo, it's got the flashlight switch now so you can use the 'F' key to switch it on and off and it's got a better level than the first demo.

Please Note: This flashlight demo contains some horror stuff so if you don't like it then don't play it.
