Josh is doing excellent work,.. I hit a block.. my mind is fudge.. and everyone knows ray-guns have unlimited ammo but are limited to targets named 'Ray', or belong to a guy named Ray, never figured it out really. LoL

im aware its his model, im not trying to be rude o put him down or anything and i apologize if I am, im just expressing my thoughts on his suggested use

why are we even having this discussion anyway? He never even used his idea in a game, its still just an idea that may or may not even be used

Hey, I could go for some colored blocks next. Maybe I'll get some together tonight.

Edit:

Made some color variations for the ball:

that will probably help in the future to, one of the ideas for a later improvement I threw out was multiplayer mode, where 2-4 players all have individual paddles, when the ball contacts their paddle it becomes their ball and any and all points scored by it become theirs

we dont really need colored blocks, we have some good images we are currently using for the blocks that could just be stuck onto boxes, although if you want to make some I cant stop u

Wow, those Pong things are exactly what I need, not that I'm making a Pong game, but I could modify them into an energy core type thing...

Been following this for a while, and wanted to say, "Hey! There is some great stuff in here!!!" I must also commend you on your texturing skills. Everything looks great! Recently, I especially like the yellow breakout block and the blue balls!... I like the yellow and the green one as well, but that's just not as funny.

Kul game, do you want some curved models instead? Or a circular game area? I can whip yah something up if you'd like, no trouble mind you.

A curved paddle and playing area would be amazing - the models in spaceball were what i spent the most time on, and what i found the hardest. I only just managed to make them look decent by upping the lighting.
I must warn you though, the next version wont be coming out ANY time soon - probably not even in a year (school =( ).
By the way, i love the design of your current paddles, so if you were to make some curved ones for me, just bending the current ones somehow would be great.

Thanks,
Aralox

Yeah, from what you said it's 100 models in 100 days, not 1 model per day for 100 days; as long as you can make 100 models within 100 days, then you're true to your word . And besides no one will be angry if you can't meet your deadline, you're the one making the models and textures and normal maps and then giving them out for free, I see no reason why anyone should complain.

I take great pleasure in assuring you that even though you are only about halfway through the task, you're texturing and mapping skills have become more than noticeably better. Great work.

The Tiki statue is awesome! It reminds me of the statue you need to push in Legend Of Zelda : OOT to get into the Lava Cave.

They're all separate objects. You'd have to build your own tetris pieces in game, or else how will you destroy blocks when you create a line?

Wow... that's all I can say to you man. Just... dang man, you're incredible. I couldn't keep to a schedule as demanding as that. Even if you're not completing a model a day, the amount work you've already finished and released for free is amazing. Props to you, dude. Keep it up.

Ha, I just went from the first page, to (second to) last. And you have definitely improved. In fact, i'd suggest something like this to all new people to modeling (meaning i'm probably going to do something similar!).

Very nice models though. I like the retro pongs

Hey, I have a little request...

Can you make a turret model for an RTS Game? (the same style as the models on page 8).

Can you also make the top bit beable to have 360 spin and make it able to pitch up 90 degrees (so it can take out objects directly above it).

Should be able to do this in 1 day. Thanks in advance!
