@Chris: No screenshot at the moment as it's still a WIP.

There is a list when you enter your licence key but I'll be updating the first post when I send out the licence keys.
Just give me a couple of hours to get the licence keys emailed out and it'll be done

All licence keys have now been sent out and the release is now officially released

Here's a feature list for v3.2:
• Water with waves and transparency
• A brand new camera view (like CCTV camera)
• Player bullets that actually fire from your gun.
• Character bullets that fire from the character guns.
• Bloom
• Player Blocks
• New and improved screen blocks, now you just place a dynamic entity and give it a screen block script!
• The screen blocks also now have physics just like entities.
• Improved snow and rain zones.
• Improved On-Rails system.

The new release also includes a music pack kindly donated by CyberDude

A lot of new pre-built scripts are now available in the 'scriptbank\Horror Mod' folder as well, they include updates on old scripts and scripts for the new features.

Video tutorials will also be released soon giving explanations for the new features.

If for some reason you have not received a licence key then I apologise in advance and ask you to email me.
And if you have any problems then again, email me.

A free version of Horror Mod is to be released over the next couple of days for those who can't buy Horror Mod Pro

And attached to the post is a screenshot of the next feature as it currently stands (or doesn't if you shoot it )
P.S: Please ignore my horrible attempt at a brick texture, I'm not really a good texture artist

1. Extract the zip file.
2. Run the exe and it will ask for a username and licence key.
3. Copy and paste your licence key into the licence key box and type your username into the username box.
4. Click 'Submit'.
5. If your key is valid it will then start extracting and preparing Horror Mod in the same folder as the exe is being run from.
6. Once it has finished everything you need is inside the 'FPS Creator' folder in the same folder as the exe.

Ok, I'll email you another one , for some reason the keys that have characters such as a '+' fail

[Edit] Can you try it again please? I think it was my own error as I had the wrong username matched to your email address

Great work on getting the mod out, Just had a couple quick questions. In setup.ini where do i place bloom=1 etc, What are good settings for it as i have never used bloom. Thanks and keep up the great work.

The bloom commands go into a script not the 'setup.ini' file.
The default settings are currently set for good bloom.

Great work on bloom i attached the code provided to a dynamic light.

Also for the legs i could not get them going, Could you please shed some light on it on how to get it going. I put it to a char's apear script and i should see there legs atleast correct? If so when i did that it showed nothing and the guy i used was half way threw the floor, And i could still cam around.

Works great! Just realised the bullet tracers and the flashlight I was so oblivious.

Yet, I have one problem. I accidentally set the Player Speed to 1% and even when I save the settings, each time I load that level, he stays at 1%, even though I can turn the speed back up, no problem, yet never saves Any suggestions?

But I'm having so much fun with it, I don't care. And, just because this is so good, I think you deserve more models I'll make for 'ya Just cuz. But I'll work on them this weekend, I have things to do...

Open the 'settings.set' file in the 'Files\databank' folder and change the 3rd line down to a new player speed percentage, the default value is 100.

I'm really liking the new version but I have found a bug (or am I doing something wrong?)

When I put a light marker, and the water script to it and press test game button, this error occurs:

Runtime Error 506 - Could not load image at line 15670.
CWD:C:\Program Files\The Game Creators2\Fps Creator Free\Files
LOAD IMAGE databank\Shaders\RWater\RSky.dds,8564236,2

Don't ask about the "The Game Creators2" and "Fps Creator Free". I had to do some tricks to get FPSC work on my Vista laptop.

I've had this error before when I edited the 'RSky.dds' file.
Have you edited it, or opened it and saved it?

It spawns at the bottom of the map so use the 'waterheight=X' command or the Page Up and Page Down keys to change the water height.

It still doesn't show up. I press page up key, and nothing happens if you exclude that the level turns slightly more lit when the water is supposed to go past the player's head.

If I may, I'd like to at least try to get a shot of the bullet tracer from the character gun. Note that it is very hard to catch, and looks a hell of a lot better in-game



Another, they're so hard to take pictures of!


EDIT: in the first screen, you can see the tracer. Look carefully Sorry 'bout how dark the screens are...

I highly recommend this mod. It has so many features, it's unbelievable! Amazing how much work you put into it, knxrb

Has anyone with the Metro Theatre Pack been able to run the .fpm that came with in Horror Mod? For me it always crashes at "saving & optimising universe".

Yes, I have. Do you have the newest version? When I had the oldest demo, the floors never showed up, even though that's not your problem, just givin' an example.

Thanks, I've spent hours and hours on that release I've also got the feature of breakable walls in for the next release (I've shown 2 screenies already) and also another feature that people definately want but I don't want to say in-case I can't get it working
