I think I'm starting to see why everyone likes it... It's the cuteness of the characters combined with art like BrotherPrickle's (that's an extreme example), emphasizing on their prurient use, which ultimately makes us feel all lovey-dovey. Is that it?

Essentially, but around that, the animation quality, soundtrack and such are surprisingly high quality, so it's not like it's just shallow, chinsy cuteness.

Also it has a great creator-community relationship that's rare for such a show. I imagine the artists spent all their time tweaking, and puttng their efforts into a show which was intended for little girls. To have a large group of adult males who actually point out the little nuances the artists thought noone would notice probably makes them feel appreciated.

It's surprise on the community's part that the show is so high quality, and surprise on the creator's part that people out there actually value their work.

What episode are you up to? I never really got into the show until the 11th episode.

Yeah I love the first stage. You want to see what the fuss is about so you watch the pilot. Then you want to see the conclusion, of course, then you find yourself watching the next episode because your bored, and next thing you know you've watched the whole season and you're sad there's not more.

I think that he was the first to like it, and he is the only one here who attempted fan art, so maybe, but I think it's safe to say I'm the most public about my bronyship. Probably because I love a good debate, and nothing sparks it up like a male watching My Little Pony and having tons of songs about on his iPod and being able to sing every song word for word.

And I thought about my previous theory, but I don't think that's true. I think I knew I was a brony when I found myself playing air guitar to a solo in the Cutie Mark Crusaders song. I caught myself and went- "Oh god."

I'm very much behind in the whole pony business, no time to do anything. Recently I decided to pick up where I left from, which was episode 10. I can't say it's the best show I've ever seen, but I refer you to my last comment And no, I didn't draw it myself, I found it. Fluttershy is my favourite :3

Seeeeen it.

Anyway, Fluttershy is always a favorite around here. I prefer Pinkie Pie, who's like my twin. I believe in crazy things because I can and there's the slightest reason to, I'm always the life of the party and everyone knows and sure can make a party. I break into song naturally and I'm slowly slipping into insanity.

I brought a boombox to a corner in the downtown area of my town. I played music and danced for like an hour. By the time I was done people were dancing with me and cheering for me. Some of those people are my best friends now.

I love life.

Wow. Today I just batted sarcastic comments back and forth with my mates, many of whom are well aware of my love for this show, some of whom have watched it and at least understand.

I convinced one to name his pet on WoW as "RainbowDash."

I wish "watching it through irony" for the first four, didn't wanna admit it 'til the 8th, and by the 11th episode I kinda decided that it was an awesome show on it's own merits.

I then watched the old ones, (Namely a "Sweetie Belle's Gum House Surprise",=), and realised that the difference in quality was massive. So with the knowledge that what I was enjoying wasn't the image people would have of the show. (I loved the awesome show we have now, people assume I'm talking about the crappy 80's originals.)

I then decided to make this here thread, because this forum''s been a frequence of mine for...four years now, and I figured that at least some people would try the show on my opinion and hopefully enjoy it. 700 messages later, and here we are!

I just read cupcakes.

It was creepy, but I heard people cried, which is kind of weird. At least it was Pinkie doing the killing, not being killed, and she stayed happy.

Hey. It's easy to get caught if you're driving so QUIK. Hehe. not very funny Exactly, just don't do anything wrong! But I really don't think the mods would lurk here, (they'd lose so much acceptance, maybe even lose their mod-ness. I doubt that though) They sure have let that one 2D shooter in PA go for a long time though

i was going to say you should share it with some close friends or people whom you trust and get opinions. For all you know, we're all 11 year old boys, who are actually cops. -The Internet

Honestly haven't used it in months. I have people on there who pounce on me upon logging in, but I don't have the heart to delete off my friends list.

I use Steam alot now though, if you're got that, look up "CoffeeGrunt." If you have TF2, even better!

@TheComet

For safety's sake...I'd say yeh, best to remove it and blame Cormorant.

Also I finally finished my fanfic. Final chapter weighs in at ~10k words. My fingers are now bloody stubs.

Double Post! I beleive it is most likely close to time to ready the first chapter of my FanFic, as there are enough words and I happened to leave off on a cliff hanger Hopefully the story will get a bit more exciting/interesting once it has fully built up. I need to do more editting and clean up but there's one problem: a name. My Fic has no name. So I figuired that should be something left to the community(because I'm nice, not because I want you to deal with my problems ) Begin the brewing.

Well for mine I choose something and use the titles from it for the series.

E.g., my Trixie fics are all Avenged Sevenfold titles, whereas the Halo fics I'm writing all use titles from the ODST album to tie in to the series.
