I'm in a rush so I'll just post real quick.
I got DBP to work again, no idea what went wrong but anyway, I now have a new game idea. This is the last time I change it, I promise!
It's called "Catch me if you can!" and is similar to whack-a-mole. Very easy to create in a month, no?
Anyway, the features:
-Every level increases in difficulty
-There will be 25 spheres that pop up randomly in a grid pattern
-There's a specified amount of spheres to catch in each level, with a predetermined amount of time to catch them in
-For every sphere that's caught the player is awarded 10 points
-If the player catches 10 spheres in a row they're awarded 1000 additional points
-Every time the player catches all of the specified spheres within the time limit, the remaining time is added to the score
-If the player loses a round, however many spheres are left are deducted from their score (10 points for each sphere) + 150 additional points. If the score reaches 0 or below, the player loses and the game is reset
It'll be 3D, although I'll create a 2D XNA version along with it once I learn more about C# in the next month. I've already got a basic demo working, although I need to throw out a few routines and re-code them as they're messy all heck (very spur of the moment thinking on my part)!
I'll post a WIP in the next week, as well.
