Hello my dear friends, Already been almost two months since the last patch 1.20.18 correction. my question is, will there be a patch 1.20 final confirmed? Finally Im very anxious because I want to test the FPSC Reloaded engine, Greetings comrades.

The last unofficial version will most likely be the final now.

Its just waiting on lee to pack it up and release it.

Hey s4real, using beta 17a installed and using the FPSC game of unoffcial_fpsc_v1.20_beta_19c_final2 items such as ammo are floating and small amount above objects, an issue seen before but fixed before as well. I'm wondering

-are others getting this issue? Is it something unique to me?
-Is it plausible to be fixed? The same issue has been fixed before. I totally understand the whole situation with work on the latest betas and all. But I felt its not unreasonable to ask as it is an issue that has existed before.

@Burger Will need a map with the issue with stock to look at it, this may be too late to be fixed in official release.

I have added a gun and ammo to the table close to the spawn of the stock WW2 map.

I'd also like to mention that its not a big deal for me, beta 17a works fine. The only reason I'm using the newer beta is because the viral outbreak models work properly in it. Beta 17a will serve me fine if these don't work

When i try to start the "FPSC-MapEditor.exe and FPSC-Game.exe etc..)
i get an error saying

"Runtime error 7003 - Mesh does not exist at line 55748.
LOAD MESH 'editors\gfx+7.x',200"

I have tried to reinstall the FPS Creator multiple times, but nothing works.

Any help please?

you do mean you start by clicking on "FPSCreator.exe"? Not the editor or game.exe separately.
Also look into your FPSC directory under "files\editors\gfx folder.
Inside the gfx folder should be a file called "7.x". See if it's there.

Hi

I just updated from v119 to v120 beta 17a and replaced FPSC-Game with the unoffcial fpsc v1.20 beta 19e one and it appears Dark AI is still unable to walk through doors with these versions.

I followed the notes about clearing the testlevel folder and cleaning the dbo and bin files but Dark AI characters are still unable to walk through doors.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a problem for other people?

@Nomad Soul Just tested the dark ai map sample and walking threw doors without any problems if you could send me a map with the problem will look into it.

But I can't replicate the problem.

I completely reinstalled FPSC v1.0 then installed v120 B17a and now everything works great.

In fact I think this version is probably stable enough to make a game with and the memory usage seems to have reduced also. You guys knocked it out of the park with this one.

The only slight niggle I have is that Dark AI can still shoot through doors (closed). It would be great if that can be fixed for V120 final.

Also, to any one out there, is there any reason why "Miss Average Intelligence" install does not have the "7.x" file? It's actually the first time I looked into the gfx folder and looked at the editor files.

Need a lot more info to do any bug testing for this problem.

System info and what windows they running ?

Is it a free version of fpsc or the full version download or cd ?

due to the lack of info there not much we can do to help.

I can see on Google code the issue I mentioned with enemies being able to shoot the player through closed doors has been accepted on issue reference 68.

There is mention of adding a flag in the setup.ini to make this optional if it has an impact on performance.

I would appreciate the option to switch on enemy bullet detection with dynamic entities as it can make the gameplay a little unfair and unrealistic or even frustrating when this happens.

Given how solid v120 B17a is it would be a shame not to address this in the final release. Please can you take a look at this?

I can understand there might be a performance overhead to have enemy bullet detection with every dynamic object in the map but if there is a fix or work around for doors that would be much better.

At least I can make a case for being shot through a wooden crate but getting shot through several inches of solid metal kind of sucks!

I suppose if I get really desperate I can have doors always open or no doors at all but I trust you will come up with something better than that.

I'm not sure f this has already been posted but i just upgraded to the new beta, beta 18 and the TF341 characters are floating in the air, not like they used to but like a foot off the ground!

@Tomahawk :- Have you not been reading the thread beta18 has major issues with the editor you need to update to b17a and use the unofficial release.

Look up a few post and you will see where to download them we not taken bugs or errors for beta18

For some reason this problem is back! Runtime error 302 - sprite does not exist at line 7108. It shows up when I preview the setuplevel.ini.

I'm using v1.20 b17a with the unofficial beta 19e.

@A dude :- post a map with the problem after many beta test and users you seem to be the only one with this problem so far.

Might be some left overs from beta18 maybe a fresh install is needed.

Updates has sort of complete if the editor is given to much of a problem you can go back to v1.19 and use the unofficial, I'm using this at the moment and finding it very stable at the moment.

It has nothing to do with the map or skybox. Every skybox I tried doesn't work.

The error happens sometimes when you using old media or gets corrupted.

AS I said the best option is to try a fresh install and update.

When testing beta's its always best to have two versions of fpsc on your system one for betas and mods and the other for your projects.

unoffcial_fpsc_v1.20_beta_19f released.


Well with the new model pack D13 released there was a issue with it going over the build cap(for some people) and also the spinrate script wasn't working.

This version fixes these problems for people who got the pack.

Well I could of told you that if you gave us the info thats what you done I spent a good hour checking the code to see if there was an error and why the sprites was not copying over.

You wasted good time when I could of been fixing a proper error.

Please if you do have any last issues please give as much info on what you done and your system specs.

Hi

Thats strange. When I install it, the version info on the splashscreen remains the old one. The editor works fine but when it comes to build, it hangs. The blue progress bar even does'nt appear. What to do?

The version number is updated with the editor build, which the unofficial builds to not alter. As for the crashes, without a test map demonstrating the problem, it's very difficult to debug. Please ensure that you've run FPSC cleaner after installing a new beta, even the unofficial ones, as this usually solves most problems.

Yes, I allready ran FPS cleaner. Every level I try to build makes FPSC crash, even a new one just consisting of one standard ground tile...
