Good news the computer has been ordered....so the thing should be here about next week and a few weeks the monitor will be here....but yeah I got the comp...I had to settle for a 80gb atm but I have 1gig of ram a 6800 and 6ms response monitor... ;P

Iamz back...well halfway x_x; just waiting on the monitor...now....it should be here within the first few days of the week....so by wendesday or thursday I should have my whole system up and running but the comp is here its sooooo great having a 6800 now....so ill be back very soon....

ok I worked on some stuff today (worked for about an hour....I have been playing games )
sofar I have done
- Opening movie (like the Nvidia thing)
- Changed from matrixs to ADVT
- Fixed the music fade out and fade in
- And fixed some unlisted minor bugs

I really didnt expect it but I will be recoding alot of stuff to make it more effecient....and will also fix other bugs so I will be on that for a little while....

thanks working on the online part now.....first online test will have Chatting + Movement

there will be a file named Settings.txt you can adjust the parameters there like ingame name

Youve been working on this for ages and it still has that same damn model!

well as said before in this somewhere iam not going to add animation till everything is generally done becuase animation is easy and I can implement it later..... but I may add one soon

Update:
Website is down v_v;
But...
New online
-Almost finished with Multi login system
-Added Chat support
-New Protocol is slightly different then other..
-Multi login sys should be done tomorrow
-Chat system is working at 90% complete just need to add double lining and fix the backspace...backspacing works but deletes a tad to fast

If you make it use the entry buffer you can get around that. Have a look at this example:

when I do the left$(outStr$, len(outStr$)-1)
and use use a timer to make it not delete so fast it just deletes the last letter I put in and not delete anymore after that thats the problem I have been having >_<

Thats because the backspace key adds a backspace character to the entry buffer. Just run the string by the StripString function I posted and it'll handle the backspaces.

well I did find someone and the new system is perfect it has the chatting in now and movement......the multi login thing in theory is working but I need people to know....tomorrow if iam not busy iam gonna finish that up ;D

working with collision with terrian now......found out that save object command doesnt work with .x files >_> but hey dbo is fine >_<

Well ive neglected DO a tad....but iam back to work I changed back to ADVT instead of .dbo files....for specific reasons but hey...Iam currently still tweaking with the Day and night and also I have added water

thanks um when I wrap up the stuff which should be today when ever I get home o_o; iam gonna put it on the forums for the forums to test ....Ill annnounce when the server is up I just wanna know how bandwidth is...when its up post if you are lagging or w/e. but the server will be up for a few hours...the main thing you will be able to do it Login,logout,chat and run around but its to test the game's stability so see you soon

oh yeah a pic would be good xD...yeah heres a pic for ya...
I kinda started over..... The last one was messy...it was about 4k lines....and ran at about 45-55 fps....the new one is less then 635 lines and runs at more then 6xs that amount which is really good...
the GUI is starting to get better...still need to finish it...
um...it uses a new file system that is working out fine
iam gonna redo the networking...this time it should be tons better because iam finally seperating the server from the client x_x; so I wont see what goes on anymore...but hey... oh yeah the pic!

-Took a new aproach to the GUI I made it mostly transparent till you rollover so you can see more of the game....
-There is animation (spell effects etc,) not shown in the pic...but its there
-Still figuring out how to reduce the polys on the ADVT...might have to buy the advance plugin....
-So far it uses memory more effiencently then the old one x_x;
- and its not as crappy feeling xD
- Will add animation ASAP (when ever I find t3h animator other then Gamespace that can load .x and save .x)
- and some other stuff

still finding a solution to make my maps with.....Strataworks may be my answer...its easier then making my own Hieghtmap editor... I like the way it work...but yeah...

im asking, when u typed a msg that bigger then your msg box GUI window, does your msg is suppurating to few lines?

like:
