It relies on being able to have the whole image fit on the screen which is 800x600. Forgot to say.

Ah, okay. Anyways miniscule update, I've begun work on a much better AI system outside of Urbia, it's a little side project that I would like to incorporate into Urbia after the core game is done. The AI system of course will be used in Urbia because this is in fact how the idea came to be. Basically it's like animal crossing. The AI will have schedules (not nearly as complex as the likes of say Oblivion, much simpler) and will have scheduled tasks and stuff and every so often they'll have a quest and you go do it. So you live a virtual life in a city, and people move there etc.

As I said I'd like to implement this feature into Urbia however this is a merely a possibility, and all the "definite" stuff has to be done first before it's decided if it will be implemeneted or not.

Well I'm going to take a month long break from game making in any form because I've got a 360 and Xbox Live to keep me obsessed, with titles like PDZ, CoD2 and DOA4, not to mention I'm getting Fight Night Round 3 and Full Auto when they're released. Anyways I also need the other three models from Xenocythe fully animated before I can get back to work. I don't want to show any screens until I can show the three differenty combat types. But trust me this game is progressing and has not died.

Although not actually doing any programming until March I've still been doing "designing" on a conceptual side of things and fleshing out Urbia's story more and more and I think you guys will really like it. So far the story by its'self takes up 20 pages in Word and I hope to have it last about 14 hours... may be a bit too much to chwe however I'm determined and ambitious and my skill in some field grows just a bit more with everyday so I believe I can do this.

Anyways here's a proto-type layout for the HUD.

C&C Please.

Was browsing the OpenMMO forum and found this link on a post:

http://textures.forrest.cz/

As I can use a brick texture alongside the bumpmaps I can have some bumpmapping allowing for better enviorments. And development will start again in March alongside the release of the new Koetsu Aboshi Site powered by Joomla!

Woot.

'Tis me again. Sometime next week or a bit later I hope to post up a video showing off the animations of Andreas in DBP within an enviorment that hopefully will be normal-mapped (having some problems with the actual normal map files from MikeS' generator.)This video will be in game though not just animations so it will show all the things from the past just with animations from Andreas and incredibly simple combat. I don't want to post any screens until then because I have some odd fetish (not really) for secrecy.
