how about Erebus. (greek name meaning Darkness)

BTW, these are looking really great. I like the one with the blown out head, kinda like that Kaath Warrior I did a while back. Anyway, they've all got a really nice style to them. If only FPSC supported Full screen shaders, you could get a really nice washed out bloom in there and it'd really excentuate the greyness in the textures.
Top work man, I agree with Smallfish, you're steppin up the game!

Its a little to late to change that.

Also when i look at that screenie.
And when i think of a possible mesh for pants on this character,
I see that it wont fit him.
It looks a little weird.

Like he woke up late in the morning and forgot to put his shirt on.

Or he just woke up and still had his pyama's on (if he wears them that is)

Anyway, i think i'll keep it this way.
But i'll make a different retexture, since the original design was
actually quite different then this one.
(with texture)
The original was supposed to be wearing clothes underneath his armor.

i want to game.
Thanks man glad you like it.

will_help.
Also thank you, glad you liked them.

ASTEK.
Thanks for the name, but i think i'll go with "Erebus" since my game also involves
some ancient believes.

Dr Parsnips.
Thanks man glad you liked them!
Well...i have been hiding this for a while on my computer.
But finally got the courage to make them sort of "public".

djmaster.
I honestly dont know.
Still have to figure out if will sell the characters.
But the arena will be going away for free i think.

s4real.
Thanks man! Glad you like them.
Also when you'r on msn i need to talk to you about something.

small fish.
I really appreciated that!
Thanks serious. It means much to me.
But it would take a looong time to make models that you could compare to
Butterfingers's, Disturbing 13's, and Wehtam's work.

pigs can fly.
Thanks for the names man!
But i think i'll go for Erebus.

Butterfingers.
Thanks man! It means much to me, to hear it from you.
If its okey with you that i could use that name?
If not then i'll think of something else.

---EDIT---
Sorry had to edit this post a few times,
Since i replied to fast...that i didnt knew that other people
also posted, and sometimes forgot to added something to this post.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

Still have think about it...if i would release them....
I think i will.

ASTEK.
I have send you an email.

General powell11.
Thanks man glad you liked it!

I have made a new mesh.
A better one much much better then the old ones.
This will be the new basic mesh.
It has slightly more polys, but then again (634 polycount)
it also has more details.

And i also made a new character...just for fun.
This one is the brother of the corpse eater.
And i hope you like him as much as his little brother.
But like i said....it was just for fun...
And i thought it looked kind of sick.

Well here are some screenshots.

Very fat and sick brother of "Corpse Eater".

This is the new basic mesh.

----------------
W.I.P Screenies!
----------------

Also thought...why wouldnt i just post some screenies of the
W.I.P characters.

So here they are.
Still have to make a texture for them.
And apply a biped.

I'll have to edit this mesh a little.
Add somewhat more details.

This is the sick character.

Hope you like the screenies.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

The Corpse Eater kinda looks like the flood off of HALO, awesome work. Are you going to release them, if so, will they work with MP5, or are they too high poly.

Troy Chambers.
They work fine with MP5, as i dont see any issues why they wouldnt work.
But as far as i have tested, they all work fine.
However...I have to re-edit the "Erebus", since i didnt placed the vertex
at the right place.
But that shouldnt be that hard.

Pus In Boots.
No sorry, i was talking to ASTEK.
Unless you need any help or such?.

Everyone.
I think i'll post some screenies today.
I have made 2 different versions of the "Corpse Eater".

1: Is fat.
2: Is very very fat.

And also will post some screenies, with "Erebus" in it.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

Thanks! Glad you liked it.

Well...
I had a quick go on the sick character...i just call him "minion".
And also imported the 2 variations of the corpse eater.
I already imported "Erebus" but this time i had taken some screenies.

These screenies contain over 10 enemies, all at spawn at start.
And the frame rate was still at 33.

Erebus had a different script, he just stood still and shoot nothing.
All the other freaks, had normal scripts so they would attack me.

And, i bought MP9&10...maybe a few hours ago and i received it today!
So i also used the MP9&10 weapons in these screenies.

Well here are the screenies.

It looks like that the Erebus is shooting the zombies.

Just a picture.

Again, the Erebus is "helping" me.

Tried to kill them with the katana.

Here you 1 of the 2 variations very clearly.

Nothing to say.

And here you see the other variation attacking me with the original one.

Hope you like the screenies.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

Thanks man! Glad you liked the new screenies.

i want to game.
Thanks mate! Glad you liked them.

drew4663.
Thanks man! Glad you liked the new screenies.

Disturbing 13.
Thanks! Great to hear it from you!
My new mesh is somewhat based on your cultist.
With that i mean, the shape of the body.
Not the spikes and such.

So actually i have to thank you for posting a screeny of him.

Everyone else.
I am currently at school, and after that i have to go to work.
But tommorrow i am free to do whatever i want.
And i have some good ideas for characters, hopefully it works.

I will also make some variations of the Erebus.
Some without the tubes, and maybe one with a bigger armor etc...
I'll also work on Astek's idea.
But i cannot say anything about it yet, will post some screenies
when its almost ready.

For people that have GREAT ideas (characters).
They can post it here, i'll see what i can fix.

Wow just awesome man , you have made some really creepy looking characters.
Your work progress is just amazing !
In a short time you have learn a lot of new stuff. Keep it up !

Maybe you could create some kind of wild dog in the same style as the characters.

Anyway wish you good luck with your project.

Best , Oleg.

Hmmm would be nice, but then again.
It wouldnt have the correct animations.
Since i dont know how to animate them myself.

The arena will be released, thats for sure.
But i still have to think about the characters.
I probably do some free characters someday.

Are the characters made from scratch? or have you edited ready made characters, and then redone the skin?
I like the arena, could do with that model, Id love to have a play with it, It could do with some straight sections, then you could make it as long as possible, you could make it as wide as you wanted, but it looks like its all one piece in width, otherwise it would make a great segment to build arenas with, a user could come along and edit it with new textures and change its size to whatever they wanted, any sized arena, fantastic. Is it a segment or entity?

fallen one.
The characters are made from scratch, unless for the 2 variations
of the corpse eater.
And the Arena is a segment, i have been thinking of that in the same way.

And since the arena is still W.I.P, i'll have to edit a few things.
I'll maybe even make a pit where the "gladiators" could hang out.
As for the long arena, that was a plan i would look into.
So thats still in my to do list.

Thanks for the tips! I appreciate it.

Cheese Cake.

Heh heh heh....I had cheesecake last sunday, since it was a birthday.

Accoun.
Yeah thats what i thought!
About the hands....its similiar to Masterchief his armor.

Well..i have been working on my latest model!
And i must say i am very proud of this one.
This is the best that i have done so far.

So i introduce you to...(drums playing)
...
"Borduack"

-Little story-
"Borduack" also known as "filth leecher".
These creatures lived in the darkest and deepest part of the underworld..."Tartarus", where they consumed the banished ones.

"Tartarus" (which could be considered as "Hell") is the homeplace of "Tartaros".
"Tartaros"...created these "leechers".
These "leechers" where meant to be the eternal punishment for the banished ones.

Diffuse, Normal, Specular.

Normal, Specular.

Nothing.

Sorry about the story, but i just felt like creating a background story for these.

Hope you like them!

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

Hey thanks mate! Glad you liked it.

Oh and does anyone likes the new character?
I have putted some hard work into this one so...
And i am thinking of modeling "Tartarus".
Which would be a level in my game.
Also have these ideas for making "Tartaros".
But first have to search on google for some pics.

Well anyway i hope you like them!
And please leave some comments & crits.

And for anybody that missed this sort of "action":
Quote: "For people that have GREAT ideas (characters).
They can post it here, i'll see what i can fix."

The offer is still on, so if you have an idea that would fit great into FPSC, then you could post it here.

(The models that blink out, would eventually put for download "free")

So stay tuned.
