Very nice! Is there going to be gore added later on?
Yeah I'm glad to see you liked the "Revsaw" name.

Waiting to see more.

please please please

rig that to the default biped, and let me try the animations and script... I don't know if you were intending to do custom, or if you were gonna use the zombie biped, but I think I can do a nice job.

There need to be some script differences from the regular melee script as to the way it damages.

Overall though, this stuff is looking sick dude. I love the style. I haven't kept up to date enough to know about the pack and stuff, but my only warning/question is : aren't some of the characters going to look very flat for people who aren't running shaders?

Top stuff though dude.

Leaning Objects To The Side
Thanks glad you liked it!

i want to game.
The normal map and diffuse texture are edited again.
Personally i like this one the best. (they way it is now)

ASTEK.
Yeah Revsaw was a suitable name for this guy.
There will be different textures:
1 thats normal,
2 thats gory,
3 thats very gory.

And i have some new shots.
Render shots, and FPS-shots.

So here are the screenies.

---EDIT---
Sorry Butters, i was typing my post when you made yours.
But i rigged it on the zombie biped, but if you want i can
rig it on the stock one.
It looks quite funny.
Oh and as for the shaders off, this one doesnt look that flat.
The others look quite flat....But i recommend people
to turn the shaders on when using characters with normal maps.
Or weapons with normal maps.

---Second EDIT---
Oh by the way on the screenies, you can see that the chainsaw is sort of gold.
Well that was a mistake i made in 3ds, i didnt exported it in the
right way.
But will for sure export it again with the recommended settings.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

So Butters is going to rig it so it looks right? That's pretty nice. He does kind of look funny though. I"m not complaining though. You put some hard work into that guy. Best wishes.

ohohoh. I have a good bit of constructive crit!

Although it saves space, it's not generally a good idea to mirror your uvs (for example, on the chainsaw guy, you're mirroring the right and left hand sides of his torso texture).

It's not going to cause performance issues, and it's probably fine on armoured or robotic characters, but when they are organic, or wearing clothing, it looks a little odd to have both sides the same.

Dont know, but how does it look funny?
Maybe i could change it then.

Butter fingers.
You are right, but as this was my first mirror UV.
I had to give it a go.
And personally i dont think it looks that bad.
Maybe a few edits here and there.
But will keep in mind that it would look to "unreal".
(Oh and do i have to send the model to you by mail?)

fallen one & i want to game
Thanks dudes. glad you liked them.

One crit about what I see on a lot of models, the polys are always a bit on the low side, last gen to me was under 3000, a lot of models on fpsc have silhouettes a bit edgy, the poly count looks a tad bit low, though no one ever posts the wires on the boards, they just make the model have it done and up it goes, that's OK I guess, but like I said its better to crit them and get them just right.

If I was to do a crit on the tshirt guy,

needs an extra edge in the shoulder, the bag is a bit boxy, though I don't mind that, id skin it as a box helmet, he has an edge that goes in on the arm on his bicep, looks a bit odd. Arms are too short, an extended arm at the sides will have the fingers at mid thigh, his are at the waist, he is missing about 8 inches in arm length, also the hands are way too small.

fallen one.
The bag over his head was actually a sort of paper-supermarket bag.
But the texture didnt turned out like one.
So i just leaved it the way it was.

The arms are a little short, and the hands arent that right.
But remember that even his stomach isnt that correct.
Or his back, the reason why i did this is because i didnt wanted
a normal human body with a texture of a zombie.
No i wanted a slightly different mesh, and then go for a suitable
zombie texture.

I have put some extra edges into the shoulder, but it seems
that when i export it, that it automatically gains that shape,
so again i thought..."ah just leave it".
And as for the line on his arm, thats the normal map.
I just looked into it, but you noticed it even more then i did.
But i would let it stay the way it is, since ingame it would be
hard to notice.

[EDIT]The model is 2090 in polycount by the way[EDIT]

Thanks for your crit.
And hope you like them.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

cheescake he model is good but..... the head is kinda wierd, try to make a face like u did with the others oooooh maybe a face like the "pinky" monster from doom 3, oh... and the shirt is kinda wierd too, ditch it and u could put like scars and stiches on the stomach or tenticles on its back. lastly i dont know if it does or doesnt
but that chainsaw gotto be able to mov and cut

overall that creature is amazing, a couple fixes and details here and there and itll be awsome

ps more pics please

The best ones are :

- Corpse eater
- Borduack
- Revsaw

do you plan to release them in a model pack ?
dont think youll release them for free. never ever
has quality stuff like this been released for free.

yeah...thats the ticket !

john schwarcz.
Could you explain it a little bit better for what i can change?
Since the face is a lot more detailed then the rest of my models.
And also i wanted to go for an human face...
Also i dont see anything wrong with the shirt...
Maybe its too mirrored but that can easily be fixed.
But i am not doing a whole new shirt since i have to edit the model
itself, and not just go for a retexture.

Mr Flowerkohl.
Thanks glad you liked them!
And into my surprise you liked the "Corpse Eater" better then the
"Revsaw".
But as for the pack....i'll be making 2 packs.
1 with free stuff in it...static entities.(possible 1 or 2 characters that go with the pack)
2 with lots of characters. (possible in a theme but dont know yet.)

ASTEK.
Hmmmm dont know which email?
Maybe you could send it again...cause i didnt received anything.
Also i am making a new type of enemy, which i think would
look great in FPSC.

the human face is fine . great actually , but the grocery bag is funny looking, i dont think u shlould use it and the shirt is pink.....maybe u can just change the color,
ps also try to put tenticles coming out of its back or its skin ripped off of part of its face , it looks to realistic not like a zombie
oh and does the chainsaw's knives themself move and if u kill the monster can u pick up the chainsaw

pps im looking forawd to more pics and maybe u can make a monster not in human form maybe a floating head , or that pinky monster from doom 3 (its an awsome monster)

overall this new monster like ur others look very good
maybe u can post 1 message with a picture for each one

Thanks dude! Glad you liked it!

john schwarcz.
Yeah it was meant to be a grocery bag... but didnt turned out that
well.
The shirt, well i'll keep that color. Since it is very easy
to make a retexture.
And since this was a custom model, i didnt do the tenticles.
But there will be a few retextures:
Normal, (screenies)
Gory,
Very gory.
And thanks glad you liked them!

Quote: "go back to that theme or make some monsters like from doom 3"

Why would i? I am not creating a certain theme...
i am just creating these since its fun to do so.
Quote: "when u kill the chainsaw monster can u pick up the saw?"

Nope you cant...it is part from the monster model itself.
Quote: "can u make some monsters like flaoting heads or monsters on their hind legs"

Nope i cant...i cant do my own custom animations.
Therefore it would be pretty hard for me.
As for the head...yeah probably...but!
If i create a floating head, then i would like to animate the mouth.
So it would have some animations in it...even if its missing his body.
Also....
Quote: "and that his wolf model looks like it has a different theme"

Quoted from me:

But i can tell you a secret....i am creating a monster

Well yeah CC, I ment to say that the bag was a little not what I wanted... so you can ditch it if you want. Also you can have a diff. shirt if thats what the guys want. The coverall version looks the best. Also I'm going to email you so check it out.

Nice new models by the way.

ASTEK.
The bag is already applied so it would be a bit hard to suddenly
delete it...but you can easily "delete" it by alpha texturing.
I already made a retexture, where you can only see the head.
And not the bag.
The shirt, will be the same color.
Since this can be easily re-colored by anyone.
My main concerns for retextures are just the gory parts.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

Yeah it looks almost the same...except this one has more gore.
And is a slightly more detailed model.
Cause the other one was a plain head model also as for the body itself.

But this one has:
Hands, (with fingers)
A mouth,
"Organs", (that stick out)
And a knife made of his own "organs".

I am currently working on the textures.
But i wanted to know if people would consider this as to "sick".
Because if it was, then i would stopped.

Also the model is:
1153 in poly count.
And uses a 1024x1024 texture.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.
