Cheese Cake. As usual, your characters continue to amaze me. I'd be interested in a mobster pack, but the monster pack is the dogs swedish meatballs. You must make a new thread to announce the release, as I want to know the second it's out.

Thanks all for the nice comments!

Quote: "sry for double post but will these work in x10?"

Yep! And right now the only thing i use is FPSC X10...so the question is...will they work in X9?
but i think they do.

Quote: "Whens the pack coming out?"

I really hope soon...since this is getting annoying even for me!
(i mean that the packs are still in the W.I.P stage)

Quote: "When is the free pack out? "

Probably sooner than the character packs...since the character packs
require beeing checked at and tested so it fully works with FPSC.

And also! My PC is beeing fixed...was acting all weird
(i am on another computer right now)
and stuff....so had to fix the problems...(dont know anything about hardware...or else i could have checked it myself)
Dont worry...i am not saying that i had to delete or that my media are suddenly erased.
Because i saved them on a USB so i can get to modeling soon as this is over!

For now i had this render for a couple of days and decided to show it here..

Loving it all so far mate, but the cars confuse me. Wouldn't the tyres be flat if the cars been left long enough to look like that? Still, sick models and textures.

I know these were the basic meshes...which arent completely done yet...
(also they have normal textures so they look "brand new", the rusty texture was just a retexture of the "brand new" one)
they have some minor mistakes in the mesh itself...and some stuff needs to be redone in the texture.
But i just wanted to make the basic mesh....so i can edit that into a piece of junk.
I have 1 of the "chevelle" which the front is smashed like the car crashed against something.
And of course more will come!

those vehicles look SWEET!This is gonna be one heck of a pack if not several packs. Looks like you'll have quite a few entities. Any idea exactly how many before a pack is released?

Disturbing, right now i have several packs but!
I cant find the pack so i could add the cars to it.

I have 3 packs that will be for sale:
- Horror.
- Mech-Horror.
- Mobster. (also regular people will be added)

And 1 big freebie pack! So i am still asking myself whether i should add the cars to one of the packs that will go for sale...
or add it to the freebie one.

Quote: "Any idea exactly how many before a pack is released?"

In the Horror pack around 15 characters will be available with texture variations.
The Mech & Mobster packs will most likely have the same amount of characters as the Horror one...maybe 1 or 2 more.

The freebie pack contains:
-1- Arena segments, (several segments)
-5- Arena entities, (for decoration, also 2 plain sided alpha mapped humans so it looks like the arena is full)
(for now) -19- Urban items, (indoor)
(for now) -1- Urban item, (outdoor)
(for now) -4- Construction yard entities,
(for now) -3- Temple entities, (sort of vol 2 of the "Free Tomb Pack")
(for now) -1- Outdoor environment entities,
(for now) -3- Regular house entities.

So that is 37 for now with more to come!

I know allot of freebie grabbers will hate me but I honestly think the vehicles should go in either the horror pack or the mobster pack. They are great quality and are worth the money you would pay for them. But hey this is coming from a fellow modeler, and not your average customer. Maybe you could make them a free gift for those who purchase at least one of your packs. It would be a great incentive to buy either one, or both even. All I know is you have my money.

This quality is way to good for a freebie , I agree with D13.

I love the rusty style of the textures , but maybe you should edit the Uv of the pink van. It's looks a little bit stretch

For the rest , Nice work man !

Can't wait to see more stuff .

AMAZING WORK

Seriously, (bows) great stuff...

Quich question though, could you tell me what I need to get to try my hand at re-skinning character models. You've done a great job wirh the hands and I've seen some other awsome "re-skinns" around.

Thank you.

I really like the models as well, they're good enough easily to be used in a commercial quality game. And you're green arena from earlier was awsome.

Awsome work Cheese Cake, keep it up!

Cheese Cake couldn't put vehicles in, just because he made the model.

Thank you all guys!
I have been working on more stuff...(characters, scenery, custom-stuff)
And they are coming at a speed range now!

So dont be surprised if the free-bie pack will be uploaded soon!

Also! When my PC was getting fixed...i was on another computer looking at my USB-stick...and it really was a mess!
Nothing was sorted out...there was no map for my textures...or models...
They all just lay around...so i thought:
"Hey! Why not sort eveything out! Delete some useless stuff...and upload the old characters?!?"

Well...thats my plan! I'll try to find the old characters
and upload them over here. (free of course)
Since the pack is using the new versions of those so...
And with the small-pack i'll upload some scenery models so you can all
try it out...and sort of beta test the original pack.

Quote: "ps. it would be awsome if u could drive those cars"

Well...hmm it would be weird actually...cause the vehicle are kind of destroyed.

Quote: "well, i still wonder why anyone would give away sooo many free things in a model pack... CC- did you know you have a fan club???"

Thanks man! Well why i wanted to give away so many models away for free?
Because sometimes i think that packs that are up for sale...are kind of random scenery put together...or are maybe 7 or 9 items in one pack!
(i am not saying that those packs are only sold by the TGC-members or that everyone is selling their packs with a wrong amount of items)
But i thought...why shouldnt i create a freebie pack that contains a lot of scenery.

Yep! But this isnt about the pack or anything...
just to show my latest W.I.P texture...kind of proud.

Model isnt mine...texture size is 256x256 - only diffuse texture etc.
Took me an half hour to create.

Here is a screenie.

About the pack...havent really got the time to create it.
I worked at it while i was creating this texture but that wasnt a really big progress.
Just some models with UV...need to start on the textures as soon as possible.
