Okay then. The files are being uploaded today. Guys, could we have 3 beta tester volunteers? Shadowfire, myself, you and Knxrb don't count Heres the list of volunteers:

1) Afrokid
2) Bigsnake
3) zeza
4) JimmySlayer
5) bloody games
6) Gorlocks suggestions

Anyone who is interested, could you just post saying so? Two places gone, one place left. The download should be finished by the end of tonight.

Right, you two are added, one place left, anyone? The download should be finished tonight and so the Beta test should be ready by the time i get the third participant. Shadowfire, as soon as the upload is finished, you will be the first to receive a copy, and Knxrb, the second.

Right. Then that will be four beta testers I'll contact you four by the email attached to your profile, if you want me to use a different email, just post. The email should be sometime tomorrow.

Were in the Beta Testing stage, so not too long from now. Perhaps two weeks, three max. Its just that Z-Mod Media gave us lots more things to include in the mod, and waves were being worked on to include in the first release.

Thx Arenas for including me as well It was 3am for me in Aussie when you posted about testers so I was lucky you allowed for 4 testers because when I got on my computer the 3 had already been taken.

Sorry guys but six Beta Testers is a bit too much. You two will unfortunately have to wait until the release of the final mod. If Shadowfire thinks that we can have six then I'll let you two in. But for now it will be the first four people who applied.

EDIT

Hey guys, I've just had an idea. How about we rate the maps made by Z-Mod. At the moment there is only Shadowfire's map and we can rate it on game play. My map will be released soon so that can be rated, and once Z-Mod is released, there will be lots more maps (All of which a link will be added to the first post). Okay, the rating is between 1 - 5. One being utterly awful, and Five being brilliant.

***** - Brilliant (This guy clearly has great skill)
**** - Very Good (The guys got skill, would be a while before i made a map this fun)
*** - Good (The Game was a good play, but with some work i could have done that)
** - Just A Map (Good, But I could have Easily Made it)
* - Wouldn't Advise It (My armless, blind great grandmother could have done better)

I'll put the ratings up on the fist post, next to downloads, once we get a few votes.

New Rating System

***** - Brilliant (The map was well balanced, fun to play, and looked great)
**** - Very Good (The map was fun to play, nicely balanced and re playable. As always, there is room for small improvements)
*** - Good (The game fun to play, but there improvements could have been made)
** - Fair (The game was a good try, but the gameplay was unbalanced and there were multiple issues with the game itself.)
* - Bad (This map isn't worth downloading - it is not fun to play, and the gameplay was unbalanced.)

i say six beta testers is fine, and i'd rate my map a... 2.

I would rate it a 4. It was just there to show the abilities of Z-Mod and not really a proper map. So as far as scripts and stuff goes i would give it 4 at least. Anyone else? Its cut on two quite different votes?

PS all those who wanted to beta test before this message are now allowed. I'm updating the list now

1 question 1 statement.

1st off, i rate shadowfire's map a 2-3 for design (taking into account it was made quickly to show off basic things), 3-4 for gameplay and 5 for the awesomeness of the features included.

Overall a 3

Secondly, Arenas and shadowfire can I use any of the sigs on the first post to advertise, Arenas already gave me permission but I want to have shadowfire's permission as well so he doesn't feel left out of the decision. BTW shadowfire can I use ur pivot sig its pretty awesome!

Damnit, typical of me to miss out on beta testing

I rate shadowfire's map ***

I played it about 5 times, so it definitely had re-playability. There were a few issues such as the game crashing when I died, and also the fact that if you're too close to a zombie the bullet won't affect it (due to an unnaturally large collision area).

EDIT:

Arenas, I don't think your ratings are very descriptive. Something like below would be better:

***** - Brilliant (The map was well balanced, fun to play, and looked great)
**** - Very Good (The map was fun to play, nicely balanced and re playable. As always, there is room for small improvements)
*** - Good (The game fun to play, but there improvements could have been made)
** - Fair (The game was a good try, but the gameplay was unbalanced and there were multiple issues with the game itself.)
* - Bad (This map isn't worth downloading - it is not fun to play, and the gameplay was unbalanced.)
