i wasn't saying that.

smurf follower asked if we needed him to make any maps for z-mod, and he said he could do a re-make of der-reisse for us.
however, arenas is already doing that, and we have no need for two der reisse remakes. I never said anything about him not being allowed to do it...

Just want to stop in to say there is already a radio script where you ca choose to play several songs when you go up to an entity. Its in the Community Guide if you want to check it out.

Okay so....mind answering a few questions?

Is this mod even being worked on still? It obviously is but it seems as if the game is in a more important place than Z-Mod. So is this mod being worked on for the game? Than released or is the game and z-mod two seperate things that continue to interfere with eachother?

@Arenas: I've almost finished the teleporter, it just needs some texture touch-ups and maybe a modification to the mesh. Should be done by tomorrow, with some of the rubble done by monday.

The Games and Z-Mod are two seperate things. Knxrb is, however making a game of his own and his time isdivided between this mod and his game. What is happening now, is that the mod's coding is being moved over to a non-horror mod version of the source code. This will become the actual Z-Mod. The conversion is working as fast as possible. Shadowfire if you could tell me when the video tutorials will be finished, and i will finish the manual. It wont have all the features, as some will come in the next mod, such as barriers (many problems have meant it would take to long to get in the first mod release). I am also working on some new health and ammo huds which work with PB and so some modification will mean that they will also work with Z-Mod.

i said i was going to make some basic tutorials, not video tutorials, and no, i can't really do much at the moment, as i'm bogged down with the mind trix comp and my GCSEs.

The work has been copied across to a new executable. I have a copy of it and am now adding a bit more infomation to the manual. There is NO rebuildable barriers in this release, although they are still being worked on. Waves may be a posibility in this release.

Ye. I have a copy now. It looks like waves and barrier rebuilds wont be available for the first release. Barrier destroy should work okay, im just gonna get some info on how they wrok from knxrb for the manual. Im sending you an email now with it attatched.

I havent posted cause it says shadowfire had the last post?? The TGC threads get wierd sometimes. Anyway the mod should be ready for release soon. I have the mod and most of the manual. I just need to organise the folders and add in a few commands for the Z-Mod and Stock engine versions of the mod. Im also waiting for shadowfire to finish any tutorials he may make.

also arenas, i think it would be a good idea if we
1. released the games before the mod.
2. released your manual with the mod.
3. released my tuorials afterwards. (i am VERY bogged down at the moment)

just took a look at your level, looks great! however, it is quite big. if you could make it slightly smaller, and add in entities and dorrs and such, can you send a me a screenshot of what it looks like in the editor?

Zones that stop player walking through but anything else can go through, can be used for blocking spawning corridors etc..

Hey guys, I decided to post this here. My original teleporter had some shading problems, and just didn't look too good. Instead of trying to take another shot a full teleporter, I decided to make this tower that can be put around the teleporter. I'll try to put a picture of what I mean later, but for now here's a shaded pic of the tower. I'm going to release this in the models and media section, with the UV file and 1 retexture. Anyways, tell me what you think.
