So... When Lemur is released, I'm going to definitely buy it. However, I am wondering if FPSC V2 will be implemented. If Lee gave you the 1.07 source, then wouldn't you get the 2.00? Or would it be a matter of the work involved to constantly have to add your code to existing code?

Well, Plystire gave me some sort of explanation, it has to do with parts of it being added to V2 or something...

The true answer to it is simple: I am tired of these forums. I am tired of the way people treat eachother, and people's lack of respect for eachother. Lemur V2 will be released, but when it is, that will be the last time you see/hear from me. I understand why Lee doesn't hang around the forums as much as a normal user. It isn't the mods. It's the users that keep asking for more features, more models, more fixes... We are but simple people... I came into this to add on to the multiplayer. Did I not accomplish that? Did I not make multiplayer better for everyone? Lee is putting my addons into V2 of FPSC x9, which will change FPSC forever. And Plystire and I never wanted shaders in Lemur at all. Why? Because it's simple. You cannot expect us to recreate X10 for computers that cannot handle X10. You can go ahead and throw a plane in your engine and apply any shader you want, but as far as fpsc goes, you will be hurting your chances of your game being played widely because most computers that will play your games are not made to handle such a memory and processor power hungry app like FPSC X10. So I guess the answer is, to the question of where did Lemur go? Lemur is still here, there is a free version containing all of the multiplayer addons, and theres Plys mods, and there's airslides mods. Then there's EFX, which is pretty good by the way. Everytime someone would come up to me and try to kiss my backside by saying "I love lemur better than efx" or "efx sucks!" made me think less of them... Lemur and EFX are like brothers. We competed and we both came up with revolutionary changes that made FPSC better for everyone. So when people start arguing over which one is better, they lack the realization that without one another, neither of them would be as good as they are. And when people go on threads and go "please add x, the other modder won't" or tell me they NEED my mod to make their dream game, which usually is abandoned after a month, they fail to realize that we are not the lady at the cafeteria dealing out sloppy joes, and we won't add features we don't see ourselves using. I have talked to Nighthawk, or Kevin behind the scenes alot, and he is starting to feel as burnt out as I am. In fact if I didn't care about my reputation and my promise to the few people here I admire, I'd be gone already. I have moved on from this place, and I would like to get this done and get out, and I hope you all can respect that.

All I can say is, I'm glad to see you go. It may sound cruel, may make me seem like an you-know-what even. But I really don't care. I think YOU are the one with the attitude problem. I understand not contiuning your mod, in fact, just say "Lemur V2 is dead" or something and I'd have no beef with it. When you turn the gun on the forums, you're going way to far.

Obviously he isn't the only one to see something wrong around here, and I've heard the moderators speak of it before. The respect shown here is, at times, abysmal.

You show no respect right now, Slayer. He hasn't targetted you or anyone in particular to warrant the response you gave him. I believe that is the kind of attitude that makes him dislike this place so much, so... [sarcasm] thanks for giving him another reason to go. [/sarcasm]

Respect? Why should I respect him, eh? Give me one reason and I may care. But currently, his attitude is horrible IMO and he deserves everything I said to him. IF they hate it here so much, just go. Don't post about it and don't rant about it. JUST GO. You won't hear me crying over it. There's Airmod and EFX mod and possibly V2. I don't try and and like a jerk, but when you start ranting about leaving, I get hella pissed. Just leave and make everyone happy, don't end your stay with a flame war.

For taking the initiative to do something you couldn't?

For Modding FPSC without having previous experience in programming DBP?

From what I can see here, the only thing Urlforce has done is tell you why Lemur has been stopped. He isn't simply ranting about leaving.

Someone asked when it was coming out, you gave them some weird answer that doesn't sound like anything I've told you related to why Lemur was stopped, and he is simply cleaning up any misunderstandings as to what happened to Lemur.

And guess what? He isn't populating someone else's thread with his "rant" either, much unlike what you're doing.

Lemur is much better than V2 will ever be, because the Lemur team doesn't come in and stamp all over any MP updates like Lee tends to. Also they have added features that V2 won't have such as water currents or setting whether you sink in the water or can swim and bloom. Most importantly IMO they are trying to add Dark AI and weapon swapping, much better weapon accuracy and fire-rate effects and most importantly, realistic shotgun reloading! It's like FPSC X11 for X9

Then release whatever it is you have and do what you have to do.If you choose not to be a part of this community that is your choice nobody asked you to leave.
We all get burned out...I won't even begin to talk about these forums.All I can say is I am doing the best I can.
If you see a problem and it needs adressing e-mail me.Moderation has increased in both length and severity.
We will have order if I have to slap the whole internet.
I have seen a horrible and unpleasant turn towards a dark time in the past where nobody showed anyone any respect around here.
It's not going to happen.
Leaving is not a sloution to your problem.Why wouldn't those that disrespect you just follow you.
Staying and helping clean the forums up is a better solution.If I did not care I would not be here and a bunch of hooligans aren't going to run me off the forums.So if you have been moderated recently and you are thinking it is too severe maybe you will think twice before posting next time.
I understnd burnout.Some days I hate to come here.If you have to leave so be it.At least you are attempting to do what you promised.
A note for everyone...

BTW most of the people who complain about moderators end up being those who violate the AUP.
I am not joking and I am serious.The very next person who does not wish to interact with us for the next few months can feel free to say something stupid.I got a button and plenty of juice in my fingers.
And I am going to notify all of the other mods about this so they know what's up.

Funny, a minute ago those were the most suckish mods known to mankind, and you were preaching of the day that Lemur would descend in a silver chariot, smite the other mods, and lead the rest of the forums to the promised land....

Please bear in mind that these forums are a privelege, not a right. When you flame and disrespect others, you bite the many hands that feed you.

There are so many people here with so many combined talents that make FPSC as good as it is. Be considerate of the massive amount of development hours that you see in these forums, and build on it, rather than knock it down.

The mods as a whole feel that FredP would appreciate some help around here. So if you want to see a lot of moderation in the FPSC boards., carry on as you are.
