I cant seem to get the blood to work....

attached is a screenshot of what im trying to acquire.

I tried s4 script, but it doesnt shoot the blood differently than normal like in screenshot. i cant seem to get a npc to shoot at me, and be able to bleed like that. . . the only way they bleed like that, is if they do it automaticially which is pretty strange... if someone could post a working AI script to use the blood effeciantly and still be able to attack plz post.

But i seen that it dont work right with S4mod_v1.7

Hmm, I didn't realize so few people knew of the purpose of throwfore/left/right/back.fpi scripts...

They are located in scriptbank\people\throw[WHATEVER].fpi.

Open throwfore, throwleft, throwright, and throwback, and add:

::bloodspurt=1

to the top. Now ANY CHARACTER will spurt blood when they die, you do not need to change any scripts. Even works on robots - they shoot out sparks

@S4 - the script you posted uses bloodsplash=1. This simply splashes blood onto walls. And with a value of 1 the raycast would be pretty small. A value of 25 is usually good and when combined with velocitygreater can make gibs that splash blood onto the wall. I'll release an AirMod script pack shortly.

i downloaded and installed this, but when i tried to testgame, i kept getting a visual studio just in time debugging error. I put simplezoom = 1 into the jcsbreacher script

the PEOPLE directory... and i was putting them in the main scriptbank folder... thats why it wouldnt work

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i was using the throw scripts for main AI....mmm maybe thats why...lol

edit- tested out, and it works. but how do i get it to spray the blood to the ground like that, every time, instead of when they just die?

Yeh, I believe it's a RAYCAST, or that's what Ply said at least....

Although you may as well wait 'til Lee releases the V1.12 source, apparently it's coming soon, and it'll have headshots, plus the official variable system, and Imageblock....

Headshots would be easy to do...but if I do them, I'd probably do them RIGHT which would mean less compatibility with the official source (I'd have some sort of hitbox for it). Heck, I might go ahead and program an entire hitbox system if I'm gonna go that far I hate the current collision with characters, it uses a simple box - if I have a hit box system it's not as intensive as full polygonal collision but still better than a box (FYI this would be only for bullet collision not with the level).

He's planning to eventually add full animation ironsights and such later on. It'll take awhile and some new store weapons are probably priority.

Airslide. I have talked to EAI and he said that was going to get around to doing it himself but he said that it's great that I'll do it. I suppose it lightens his workload.

Pffft, I don't particularly care about how compatible it is with the official source. This already beats the official updates and with that hit system it adds sooo many possibilities such as:

Enemy shot in arm = reduces it's accuracy.
Shot in the leg = reduces speed.
Shot in head = instant kill
Shot in torso = speed and accuracy get affected.

Someone just pointed out that simplezoommod is spelled as simplezoommode in the manual. Here's an updated version of the manual with the misspelling fixed (so simple but has already caused headaches ).

Hey Little Bill thanks for the Skripts, but I have a problem.
I places the skripts in Triggerzones but nothing happens...

Only the "Plrinzonedeleteweapons.fpi" works.

Ok I think there is the problem, I use Airmod V 0.6 Beta.
I hope this Skripts will work with Airmod V.06 Final...

For now I highly recommend using S4Mod as it has improved stability and the latest version of AirMod. When a new version of EFX comes out it will likely also have AirMod 0.6.

i use v1.08 and it works fine


although, i may update to v1.09 cause i have alot of things purchased in the store.. but for now, im sticking with v1.08, which should work as good (if not better) than v1.07

I hate to be annoying to all of you when this mod is working so well. Its just I just got accepted into the TGC store and I am trying to release some High Quality Sci-Fi weapons. I would like to utilize the Features Air-Mod offers, However eachtime I attempt to test game I recieve this error:


Below I have listed my Computers specifications if any others are needed please let me know.

OS: Windows Vista Ultimate
FPSC 1.12 with Airmod 0.6

CPU: Intel C2Duo 8400
MEM: 4GB OCZ Reaper 1150MHZ

Whoo! If that's a 64 bit PC then there's your problem! Few programs are designed to work on 64 bit. and I'd bet that FPSC ain't one of them!

@ Skywalker : Its simple mods dont work with v1.12 thats why you get the error.

Mods are best used with v1.07,v1.08 and early version's of v1.09.

Are you sure you didn't do something wrong? It works fine here - sounds like the FOV might have gotten reversed. How far are you zooming in?

Some questions about Airmod:
1) Will you be able to set accuracy for when a weapon is and isn't zoomed in seperately? So I could have a sniper rifle that has an accuracy of 90 when zoomed out.
2) I forgot

EDIT: Ah, I remember. Can you set headshot damage for seperate weapons?

Pus In Boots,

1. Yes, you can. Example:
accuracy = 90
and
simplezoomacc = 1

Actually I've never tested it with guns using the basic FPSC sniper zooming. If it doesn't work, you can set up simple zoom so that the weapon is not visible on screen and the scope overlay is displayed. You will have full control over accuracy and recoil (you can set recoil separately too, when zoomed in) but you will have a fixed zoom power and will not be able to use the mouse wheel to adjust magnification.

2. Not with 0.6.
