Yep, I agree with you, I belive the first person to use this "reality" in FPSCreator is butter fingers in a game named "Umbra".

Yes, the standard for all to try and emulate. I fell in love with the idea then, and my sick little mind is playing with it now. The only thing left to see is how far the rabbit hole goes. LOL

For now, I have a few ideas to try and, if it flies, I would love to make a game of this. Lot's of puzzles and craziness. A First Person Dream without blood or guns. That's just CRAZY!

Best.

heltor and Tanya, thanks again for the kind comments.

darmic, yes it is in-game. It looks strange, doesn't it? It's a nearly black sky box and full lighting so you can see everything.

@xplosys: Great job on the models (as always). But I got a question for you. In your c-store models, you have the ice cream freezer. Looks like the top of the freezer is solid. Any chance of turning this into a transparent top to show the goodies in the container? (Not to actually open it, but to look a little more like the real ones in the store?)

Thanks for the comments.

Leon, I wasn't aware that they had the kind where you could see through the top. I'm sure it can be done, but transparencies are a bear for me. I think it would have to be dynamic though. No, I'm done with those and don't care to make any changes to them. Sorry.

Attached is a peek of a puzzle/theme game I'm working on called Hypnagogia.

I saw one of these somewhere (can't remember, but it wasn't for sale, so...) and it gave me the idea. It's a roll up door that has been pushed/forced open. It take up a segment, so just leave one section of wall out and replace it with the door.

Nice idea! And good model/texture!

Also love the render! Maybe add some details to the insects?
Make them more high poly. Etc..
Since that would be a sort of game promotion, it would be better if you could put every possible effect/detail in it.
Therefore making it look nicer!
(of course not all effects)

And after that, maybe edit it in a photo-edit software.
Maybe some funky font. Some abstract effects, you name it!

I've already stopped working on it. If I have time tomorrow, I'll put up the first level. It was fun for a while but I ran out of ideas.

I guess you're talking about the bottom rail of the door. If not, then I don't know what you mean.

You're models are great and your textures are even better.
Do you think you could make a tutorial one day?
Thanks

You might want to get some ice on that.

Although I have been looking in and posting a bit, I have not been making any models or even using FPSC for a while. I am closing my retail store and taking my business back on the road and working from home. It's amazing what you can accumulate in ten years! I have a lot of moving and coordinating to do while still trying to make a living, but things should calm down after Christmas.

Once I'm settled in and have my office set up at the house, I fully intend to get back to modeling and animation. Thanks for all the support and I hope to have something for you soon.

Best.

I've always had trouble fitting the standard lift tube into a level so I made a simple lift cage that is more generic. Perhaps it will give others some ideas. It comes with an open side for bottom/top and a fully closed for the middle sections.
