I find myself in a unique position of actually remembering outhouses in the neighborhood when I was growing up. They were no longer in use, but for some reason - laziness or sentimental attachment I assume - had not been taken down. One I especially remember for the writing on the door,

Anyway, stories were still plentiful of outhouse use and misuse, and how "wish books" were used instead of toilet paper when necessary. Wish book was the term used for store catalogs from which you could order anything you might wish for, but hardly could afford. I'm sure many hours were spent wishing for the beautiful things depicted on those pages before they were used to wipe away some daily duty. Anyone who has seen the beginning of Shrek knows what I mean.
To get back to the question at hand, "Are you saying we always talk crap?"....
No. For some reason the thought of wiping away a little mess made me think of you.
