...the barn looks great, xplosys. A job well done, indeed.

You should hunker down, take a break, and enjoy yourself a cold Corn Cola...

Here is my first try at the corn field. I'll improve the texture but the concept works well for depth and has a very small footprint. It's just a textured plane in regular grid size.

Best.

And here's an inside shot. All the amenities are present, and a little reference you might enjoy.

I find myself in a unique position of actually remembering outhouses in the neighborhood when I was growing up. They were no longer in use, but for some reason - laziness or sentimental attachment I assume - had not been taken down. One I especially remember for the writing on the door, 4U2P which I found particularly amusing.

Anyway, stories were still plentiful of outhouse use and misuse, and how "wish books" were used instead of toilet paper when necessary. Wish book was the term used for store catalogs from which you could order anything you might wish for, but hardly could afford. I'm sure many hours were spent wishing for the beautiful things depicted on those pages before they were used to wipe away some daily duty. Anyone who has seen the beginning of Shrek knows what I mean.

To get back to the question at hand, "Are you saying we always talk crap?"....

No. For some reason the thought of wiping away a little mess made me think of you.

Best.

Hmm yeah I found trucks really difficult! The UV mapping of my truck was so difficult by the end of it, I scratched the whole model and started again, I found that creating multiple textures and uv mapping single objects then merging the textures together and adjust the uv maps accordingly (all you have to do then is move them into the correct place) to be the easiest solution for me. But maybe your Uv mapping skills are better than mine lol ...

Still a WIP. I hope I don't have to start all over, but I see where I could have done it differently. There is a lot to think about when setting up the UV. LOL

Best.

Great work!!! Now the only thing missing is darmic's cow.

I have also noticed Andyjack7 is on my forums... So I just banned him so he won't start posting other people's models and taking credit for them.
