Jerico2day:

Hmm...I like it, but maybe we can give it more of a "death metal" feel with the lyrics.

DIE NOOBS, DIE NOOBS!
DIE DIE DIE NOOBS!
DIE NOOBS, DIE NOOBS!
DIE DIE DIE NOW!

DIE DIE DIE DIE!
DIE DIE DIE DIE!

DIE RIGHT NOW NOOBS!
DIE RIGHT NOW!

DIE DIE DIE NOOBS!
DIE DIE DIE!

DIE NOOB, DIE NOW! DIE NOOBS, DIE NOW!
DIE NOOB, DIE NOW! DIE NOOBS, DIE NOW!

DIE NOOBS, DIE NOOBS!
DIE DIE DIE NOOBS!
DIE NOOBS, DIE NOOBS!
DIE RIGHT NOW NOOBS OR ILL KILL YOU MYSELF!

Let me help you with that...
Press B, and then select Rifles, then Select the M4A1, Now, press B again, then go to pistols, and select the Deagle...
Now, Run around looking for other players and when you see them, aim for the head and press left mouse, you may have to press it 2 to 6 times, depending on how the other player is moving...
With these helpful tips, you can now own a noob... In CS:S.

>_>

Oh, and Congrats to mat for being the forum President, Although I think I've said that twice now... ?

As President, I think Jerico's is the winner. We'll hold it to a cabinet vote though. Maybe Andrew's could be a background chorus .

Well with so many anti-noob candidates, it's a show of bi-partisanship to have anti-noob background chorus lyrics in our anthem .

@tha_rami: No text as of yet, I was thinking that some generous soul would write a few verses about the bravades of the legendary, patriotic heroes of ancient times (the mods) and their eventual victory to come over the evil hoards of the N'zerobs (read n0obs)

@Jerico: Thanks. I've attached the melody sheets if you want to have a go at patching your text in with them

@The rest: Hm, don't tell me the anthem was all about the lyrics to you guys now...

-> Oh, come on...

Serge: You have 23 pages of reading to do, lol

Rudolpho: Of course not . Lyrics are just a poem if they don't have good music to go with them .

So what if they have crap music to go with them?

Well, what have we got in 2012?

London Olympics
TGC Elections (With Serge running)
US Elections (I believe? Maybe Paris Hilton will run?)
The End of the World

You make the connection.

London Olympics... pah! With our (the UK's) economy now built on a giant pit of quicksand-debt, it's going to be a dirt track and a paddling pool.

Ah come on - don't put what I said into political discussion.

We're all down about Brown's decisions as of late, but this isn't the place for it.

Sorry for reviving this ancient thread, but there's been a development!

After a perilous journey through the depths of Ian's treacherous Moon Base, Special Agent Dink was able to breach the moon laser's final defenses. Having infiltrated the most highly secure floor by fending off hordes of rabid poo-flinging monkeybots and terrifying Paris Hilton cyborgs, he broke into the laser and "upgraded" it with a security feature that will make it impossible for the laser to ever target an elected or non-elected TGC official. In other words, no fear of another military coup in the future, hooray!

As promised, I've relinquished my mod powers for good... and I'm happy, because every time I logged in I was worried I'd hit something by accident, lol. And I get this rockin' badge and Presidential title, too! With all of this out of the way, I plan to do what I always hoped to do: use my Presidential authority (what little there is) to make our community a better place. In my earlier Presidential orders I put term limits up, so now we have to start planning for our 2009 victory

As your President, I'd like to make a request... if someone out there can sing, you should sing our anthem and record it for us. Even if you can't sing, that'd still be really cool . Post your audio files here and we'll vote on the best rendition, lol.

Yes, Forum President is here to stay as a role. If you ever step down in the future, it can be passed on to another worthy user too.

If you really want to sing it, try that new MS software in Rich Davey's thread...it might be laugh. Though most of us are programmers, not singers, so it'd only be only less slightly hilarious than the singing on American/Pop Idol and the XFactor.

That rocks! Everyone start planning your November 2009 campaigns! But you'll be going up against an incumbent Matt Rock administration . By an earlier Executive Order, my term is up on December 3rd 2009, and I'm only allowed to run for President twice.

Actually, now that I think about it, Executive Orders are general commands, not really legislation. I should organize the executive orders into the TGC Constitution! I could narrow the list down by grouping all of the "mods can't throw another coup" orders into one amendment. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow . If anyone has some constitutional suggestions, I'm open to entertaining them. You can be a founding father (or mother) like me .

Another note, whoever made the Presidential badge, kudos on a job well done, I love it!

No no, you simply misunderstood what I was saying... I promised you the GOLD walkway leading up to the White Pyramid. Everyone has to help out, I mean really, it's a pyramid, do you know how old this building is?!? If you really want to get started on your Internment duties, go find people breaking the law and imprison them . Be glad though, you get to serve at the pleasure of the President!

Matt dodged the first shoe, the second one got lodged in his sternum. Then; as sources indicate, he had a mild to moderate stroke and went into cardiac arrest twice. His condition is now stable and he should be back to corrupting the forums in no time!

I THREW THE SHOES!
But everyone here is getting the wrong impression! In OmegaLand, throwing shoes is a way of saying "Congratulations! I hope you do well!"
But HERE everyone is all "Oh, noes! He threw teh shu at teh prezez! Runzorz! Charge teh moon laza!"

Calm down people. Those shoes were harmless. They weren't even loaded.

If the good lord had intended us to go outside or have a social life, he wouldn't have invented the internet.
