True, but you have 1.17 to look forward to with the built in website gaming system, FPSC IP will have to be taken to the next level to support it's features.

no, but supposedly they are making the multi-play a lot better, I hope anyway, which means if we get team death match, that would make an awesome update for FPSC IP

You don't, it's up to the mod owners to decide if they want to add support for FPSC IP or not.
If enough people requested it then they might integrate it.

If you want an account made for FPSC IP V3.1 you need to email me now as the old site is offline while I update it.

The FPSC IP V3.1 program and features are still fully functional though.

Wrong file, read the first line again :
Quote: "Open your settings file (setup.ini) in the main FPS Creator folder and change this line:"

Also if it doesn't work then change it in 'buildsetup.ini' as well if you have that file.

Thanks, it's the setup.ini file in your main FPSC folder that you edit. The path is usually 'C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\setup.ini'.

Once you've edited the file you build your levels and apply FPSC IP.

I realise that the help files and tutorials for v3.1 isn't very good but I've improved it loads for the new version

Here's another update for you all:
I've almost finished the FPSC IP Studio program that the game developers use to customise and then build FPSC IP onto their games.
A new feature of v4.0 is an account activity window that shows what the game developer has done while logged into FPSC IP Studio, this is helpful if you forget what you did or if you think someone is logging in as you and building games (you can get proof of the login).

Complete help files will be available, so if you don't understand the screenshots then don't worry

Here's a few screenies:

You can also get FPSC IP signature bars for your forum signatures from the new FPSC IP website:

I'm working on it but it's difficult as everyone has different configurations, some people use modems, others routers, some are behind complex firewalls, others behind not so complex firewalls, etc., etc., etc.

I received your email and have already replied

If you want I can set up Anti virus fire walls (norton, mcafee, kaspersky ectt) I cant block and forward ports through a router or I can do it through just a modem! D:<

This is def looking good nice work, I thought you didn't have to port forward if you using a lan modem. Never had to when I was using one and fpsc work fine. To think about it I dont think there was an option to port forward a modem.

Best s4real

That's correct, it just goes straight out to the cloud

Oh, I know how it's done, It's just difficult trying to detect the configuration the user has, to know which method to use.

I understand that the 2303 port problem with firewalls is extremely hard, but if you can't do it (which would be a shame ), this looks like something I will invest in anyhow! Great Work!!

Just to let you know; I don't take sarcasm very well.

I am just one guy working on the entire project, I'm the only person with access to the servers, databases and source code and I already work from 14-18 hours per day on FPSC IP with around 6-10 hours of sleep.
I understand that you've all been waiting patiently for a while but I reckon that you'd prefer to have a fully working, as bug free as possible application at the end of it rather than a program that is released early and then you find it has bugs after you've already released games using it.

It will be worth the wait, I'm estimating sending the next beta versions out to my new beta testers sometime over the next five days but that depends on my progress.

Quote: "but i don't find any download location"

You can purchase features for FPSC IP v3.1 by emailing me, same for downloading it.

Far from it, I've got another update for you all:

[ UPDATE ]
Hi guys, I've not posted for a while because I've been busily working away to get this finished now
I've also completed the custom database scripting now so you can use your own databases

I've also just finished writing a 20 page help file on how to use the FPSC IP Studio program so I'm uploading it for you all to read so you can find out exactly what's in v4.0 so far.
FPSC IP Studio v4.0 - Help File (1.15MB PDF)

[ EDIT ]
All beta testers should now have received a new beta for FPSC IP v4.0.
If you've not received yours then please email me.
