It depends on the user's connection and internet speeds and other stuff like that

The lobby and chat is unlikely to lag though as it's shared across multiple databases, plus you can purchase optional speed and database upgrades to make it faster as well.

Looks great! I'm going to start testing the beta now!

EDIT: I have tried FPSC IP and it is great, but my only snag is that it doesn't bypass the nickname screen of the FPSC Game, and it still asks for one. Is this meant to happen in the test builds of FPSC IP?

Kind of, the pricing has changed from the old version, more details on that at a later date, but the free version has features such as lobby and chat for free.

Hi Terror, yeah I did miss that post :S

The screen bypassing is done in the PFSC IP source mod which other source modders must add to their mods when I release the code.
I'm currently talking to multiple modders and it looks like support is going to be added for a few of the current mods on the forums and other modders may decide to add it as well.

As well as the FPSC IP source code I'll be releasing a compiled exe version for those who use stock FPSC for their games with screen bypassing and the other FPSC IP features.

I have a few Questions:
1. When I start a MP game it used to say : COULD NOT HOST, Well I got that working, Now FPSC Game just stops working at the start of a game. Care to shed any light on the issue?
2. So on the website if I understood correctly, in FPSC 4.0 Chat Lobby, Multiple Maps, etc will be available in the free version?

You mean when using v3.1?
If so then it could be an error with the site, I've been moving lots of stuff around ready for the new version

[Edit] Unfortunately do to a security risk caused by the free version, the free version has been removed for now but may be added in the future, sorry

You can use your own signature images
To have them used in the automatic signature image generation system they must be stored on the FPSC IP server, hence the optional upgrades.

Ok guys, FPSC IP v4.0 is now officially out
Months of work has finally been completed.



For those who have purchased v3.1; v3.1 it will still continue to stay active if you want to stick with it rather than move to v4.0
