Quote: "Is there anyway to have unlockables that you can use as 'accessories' in-game? (i.e. You get to level x and you can unlock certain weapons and things like artillery and air-strikes with 'credits' you get by leveling up.) "
It's happened again
Someone's requested another thing I've already started and ruined the surprise
Quote: "have you fixed the random unhandeled exception bug?"
It's a complete rewrite from scratch for the new version so I'm hoping for no errors at all, and if there are any then it'll display enough info for me to fix it relatively quickly
Quote: "and also i found another bug, If i try to have more than 10 levels the 11th and 12th one will play the first and second map. "
Ok, that's already fixed in the way I've coded the rewrite
Quote: "Do you have a release date?"
I'm hoping for next month, maybe a few weeks but I'm not making any promises as I'm trying to make it work as smooth as possible before release
Quote: "Also, for the signature thing, would we need to register a server with you? Or would that be automatic?"
I'm currently deciding whether to do signatures on the FPSC IP servers or if you can use your own. It depends on if the server owners would allow FTP access for FPSC IP onto a new folder on the server in question (just to upload images, nothing else).
The coding is going well so far and I've been finishing up the fading and polygon button effects tonight so I've attached an image of
an example menu. It just shows that it can be completely customised to fit the style of your game and also shows that there are
NO WATERMARKS and never will be
[Ignore the white debug text in the top left]
I've also built a few more programs to turn FPSC IP into a 'pack' of programs that now allows you to have the buttons wherever you want and you can have as many buttons as you like, doing different things and other cool stuff. By the time I'm finished you'll be able to use FPSC IP as a new menu for a normal FPSC game with video intros, fading effects, rollover button effects and more
I hope you enjoy it when it's released as much as I'm enjoying coding it
