Yay! So it is like CoD...That's awesome.

Is there a class system? Or being able to choose weapons beforehand, etc?

Oh noes!! now I am really excited D: I can't wait :3

**edit**

Didnt want to double post, but hey knxrb what do you think about a clan system? that would be pretty cool. Simple on paper, but I know the coding is the hardest part. Basically it would be controlled via the interface you have. So you would not have to code it in the game I.E show anything about the clan in game, but only on the interface. Just a though

What kind of idea do you have in mind for clans?
How would it work?

No,FPSC IP does not work with FPSC X10 since theres no mod for it.But there might be in the future once DBPro and FPSC X10 source is released.

FPSC IP is NOT a mod. It is a totally separate program. Like game starter. in the next update of FPSC IP there will be 100% compatibility for x10.

Quote: "What kind of idea do you have in mind for clans?

I gave it some thought and this is what I got,

The clan system would have to allow a user of a certian level to be able to create a clan name on the GUI that you made, from there, any user can search a clan name, and click something that will ask the owner of the clan to either allow or disallow them from the clan. The clan system would simply show the clan name and maybe a logo next to their name in the chat rooms you have built and in their profile system that you built. Though the names or logos do not have to come up in game (as that's re-writing code in the actual game) So lets say you are a part of the "acid" clan, you are in a chat room waiting for host to press play, when you see some one join in with the clan tag "lava" and logo appear you two happen to be rivals

The reason I think you should be a certain level before you can start a clan is because it would reduce the spam of new clans. There should also be an option that a person who is in a clan or owns one cannot make another. And an option to destroy/leave a clan.

Then again, just an idea

Nice idea, it'll probably be included in an update though as I'm too far into coding to to add that now without re-writing half of what I've already done

hehe no problem comrade, I know what that's like :/. I really can't wait to see the update, and thank you!!

Quote: "Will FPSC IP be able to add dynamic entities to FPSC? "

FPSC IP cannot do that only for the fact that this program does not have anything to do (Code wise) with actual FPSC, someone would need to re-write the source code for the engine to do that.

Hey knxrb,

I was thinking of some more ideas with the program, I was fiddling with the setup file for the levels of each maps. In them I believe there is an option to change amount of players and kills. What about a drop down bar to choose how many players for that game I.E 1vs1 2vs2 3vs3 4vs4 ect... and a kill limit, so if a person doing 1vs1 does not want to kill the other dude 100 times lol... that would be boring! just a thought if you are not to far into programming. It would simply manipulate the setup file for that map and then reset it one done.

FPSC IP already has a kill and time-limit counter
And the amount of players per game is already in the new version

oh mai!!omg I can't wait. Now a quick question this is quoted from you.

Quote: "It can mean more weapons and saying they are level 'X'"

Is this going to be a shop like system? meaning when users are at the lobby they click on the "shop" button and can spend currency earned by kills or objectives in game to buy different weapons? or will it be a unlock system? Will there be any room for developers who make custom weapons to put into game to charge points for? something like ijji's G coins (They are special points people have to buy in order to buy special weapons) Just curious! thank you!!

Is there anyway to have unlockables that you can use as 'accessories' in-game? (i.e. You get to level x and you can unlock certain weapons and things like artillery and air-strikes with 'credits' you get by leveling up.)

This would be editable by the developer (choosing WHAT the player can unlock and at what level) and the PLAYER (what he/she wants to unlock.

Hey Knxrb, I am really looking forward to this.

Do you have a release date?

Also, for the signature thing, would we need to register a server with you? Or would that be automatic?

It's happened again Someone's requested another thing I've already started and ruined the surprise

Quote: "have you fixed the random unhandeled exception bug?"

It's a complete rewrite from scratch for the new version so I'm hoping for no errors at all, and if there are any then it'll display enough info for me to fix it relatively quickly

Quote: "and also i found another bug, If i try to have more than 10 levels the 11th and 12th one will play the first and second map. "
Ok, that's already fixed in the way I've coded the rewrite

Quote: "Do you have a release date?"

I'm hoping for next month, maybe a few weeks but I'm not making any promises as I'm trying to make it work as smooth as possible before release

Quote: "Also, for the signature thing, would we need to register a server with you? Or would that be automatic?"

I'm currently deciding whether to do signatures on the FPSC IP servers or if you can use your own. It depends on if the server owners would allow FTP access for FPSC IP onto a new folder on the server in question (just to upload images, nothing else).

The coding is going well so far and I've been finishing up the fading and polygon button effects tonight so I've attached an image of an example menu. It just shows that it can be completely customised to fit the style of your game and also shows that there are NO WATERMARKS and never will be [Ignore the white debug text in the top left]

I've also built a few more programs to turn FPSC IP into a 'pack' of programs that now allows you to have the buttons wherever you want and you can have as many buttons as you like, doing different things and other cool stuff. By the time I'm finished you'll be able to use FPSC IP as a new menu for a normal FPSC game with video intros, fading effects, rollover button effects and more

I hope you enjoy it when it's released as much as I'm enjoying coding it

Omg!! drool!! This is awsome, and in a month? this is great news! I was planning to release my MP game after I bought this software in about a month.

Quote: " It's happened again Someone's requested another thing I've already started and ruined the surprise "

lol! so it is an unlock system? I do see you quoted his "credits" part, so there will be room for a system like Special Points that you have to buy or receive to get special weapons, armor, perks ect? Thank you very much knxrb!!

is enabled, users can record? ie like a mog you download the game, you register and you can challenge others by selecting the maps that most choose, including server space web domain name? or should I buy a domain where the users to register?

It's got the OriginX features in already

I've not decided on prices yet but I'm definately not charging full price for people who've already bought it.

It might be £15 for new users and £1.50 to upgrade for existing users. At the moment the server requires additional things to be added to run the new version which is why there is a small charge for existing users but I'm hoping to eliminate that before release day

The release will be soon but I can't say precisely when at the moment as I've got other projects at the same time, plus it's my birthday soon and other stuff like that

Dedicated servers, well, you could if I released the files but I'm not sure about doing that as it would allow the accounts to be changed by whoever runs each server which would enable them to give themselves all guns, highest rank etc..

How are you thinking it'll work?
The only way for you to have a server working for your game is for you to pay a small fee to get a unique version of FPSC IP for that server.
