Oh, so you mean if a user doesn't have anyone to play with they can play the single player version. That's a good idea!
Thanks, I'm definately going to add that in

Keep an eye on the first post and the website (www.fpscip.com), when version 3 is released it will be on both of those

Hello everyone again, Version 2 of FPSC IP has now been released for users without a web server!

New additions:
Single Player Game Support: Add a single player game in case there are no other people to play online!
Chat & Lobby System: Let your players talk and discuss strategies etc.. before they start playing. They can also play as many games as they like one after the other without leaving the lobby!

If you want to use Version 2 you need to sign up to the developers area*, just go to the website and click 'Register'.
You can also buy extra features like lobby & chat and multi-level(available in next 2 days) in the developers area!

Get it here: www.fpscip.com

Version 3 with multi-level feature will be available in the next 2 days!

Have fun, knxrb!

*We only ask for a username and password you would like to use, we do not ask for any other information!

wow... heart fluttering...

I got all these FPSC Apps:

SkaleTracker (Music)
Plys Mod (Awesome mod)
Phoenix Protection (Frontend)

Only problem. MP on FPSC dont work with me... it always cant find a server, i even tested one with a forum "friend" and neither computer could pick up the IP even with the sufficent ports opened.
Will FPSCIP change that? If it does, im in. And also, will it conflict with my Phoenix Protection app?

I presume you mean this is what your using to protect your games:
http://www.phoenix-sentry.com
If it is then I'm not sure how they will react with each other, they might work fine.
I say just try it and see

The FPSC IP app is a front-end to a fpsc game and it doesn't edit any of the actual game source code.
It's been designed to add extra features and make your games look more professional so I don't think it would make any of that work better (yet)

amazing mod looking foward to tommorow.
Will u do a version where the game maker can add a few more maps after they have released the full version. So it would be like a expansion pack.

Yeah excellant
otherwise when we would release expansion packs they would all be separate .exes which would be annoying.
thanks for that

No offense, but you shouldn't go up a new version on every release. It should be like majorrlease.minorrelease.tinyupdate

So: 1.3.1

Get my drift? Do what you would like though.

Temporarly away from the Phoenix Sentry.

I seem to be having trouble logging in. I created an account at FPSCIP.com, and I can log in and out of it on the website. But when I try to log on in the exe it says incorrect username/password. Did I do something wrong?

Slightly transparent.

Ok, at the moment their isn't a 'Version 4', I'm just making the expansion app etc...

Quote: "ill host and my friend whom is on another omputer gets constant error messages such asit says "Unhandled exception has occured in your application. Conversion from string '"' to type 'interger' is not valid. "

I though I got rid of that error! Nevermind I'll fix it in a few minutes...

Right guys, The fixed version has been uploaded. You should now never get the "Conversion from string '"' to type 'integer' is not valid." error message again

Just download Version 3 as usual.

Also make sure you add your game to the database(in developers area) otherwise other people can't play it!

@Helix: Your username 'Spectre' is in the database, try logging in using your password that begins with 'p'

Anyone else having problems?

I'm also now accepting payment for the extra features in models packs, entities and segments

It requires you to enter your login details again when you want to buy extra features.
This is just for extra security and account verification

Before you select your map check the 'Use Custom Level Pictures' checkbox.
Then each time you add a multiplayer level it will ask for the picture after you enter the name.

If you keep your mouse still over the checkbox you get a help balloon. Same for textboxes etc...

Ok, thanks for testing it again
Is it the actual game that's crashing or the FPSC IP app?
And have you added your game to the database?

i think its the transition between the applications but im not completely sure. i hosted and crashed (due to UAC and firewall) then disabled it. then when he hits join game, he searches for a minute, mine comes up, he hits join and it crashes with no messages.

i haven't yet put my game int the database because it is a simple test and not for use other than testing to see if this app works.
would you like me to ad it none the less?

That will probably be your problem
It looks at the game name in the database and retrieves how many users can join each game.
If the game name is not in the database it won't be able to do it and will throw an error, and in the fix I did earlier it stops the error message showing which explains the no error message

I can delete the game name afterwards if you tell me what it is.

Nope, it needs to be the same as the game name you enter into the 'FPSC IP Creator.exe' settings though.
It sounds like a problem with the game and not my program.

Can he run it normally by double-clicking it?

If it crashes when he tries to run it normally then it's his pc.
Maybe he doesn't have latest DirectX installed?

any ideas, both our routers have the appropriate ports open and firewalls disabled

EDIT 2
the name i entered into the fpscip app was not the one i entered into the site, its "newtest" ( i think)

Just look around on the site and see what you can find on multiplayer errors.

FPSC IP doesn't actually change any of the source so it's not my program.

Yes, send me an email with either a list of the models or pictures and I'll take a look

The multi-level features is built onto the chat feature.
I'm currently working on a version with it seperate.

@ knxrb

Any chance that I can get a free copy of both versions since I shelled out the 60 clams for the website hosting?

I didn't think to offer you a prepurchase which would have been a better way to do it than a gift.

Anyway, it doesn't matter because it was a gift, so I will still pay for them if you want me to.
