A quick gameplay run though, very boring, i know, but i will be spicing things up as a i progress through the level.

NOTE; all of the UT UI's and messages are just temporary.

Update video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbHLMuOm8qY

A few things to do :

Correct Light bugs
Texture untextured faces
Improve Camera Movement
Create damage zone for acid below the moving panels.

Im blocking what i want to see out with presets, and then when i am more or less done with the cinematics and level mechanics i will go back in and replace them with my own models and textures.

UDk is great, i find it easier to use than FPSC, and has a whole lot more freedom. I can add you on MSN if you wanted to get setup with it.

No problem quik, the level is more or less done, so now i just have to make a bucketload of media for it.

Models so far
Cargo Crate
Warning Cone
Guard Rail

Ideas/To Do
Lever/Switch
Lift
Custom Player Character

Please, i need all of the ideas i can get, so fire away.

If you would like to help out with the project please contact me.

For quick firing random mechanical gear, i use alchemy and the machine set shapes.

Its fun and gives you a huge insperation base.

Looks at the video on that page and youll understand what i mean.

For a few ideas now'

Crane shaft walkway.

quadped turret base, - without the turret so its like a step area.

Generator + frilled tubes

Tanks - like Henry's

Thats all i can think of right now. Imagination fail -__- lol

Started on a Barrett sniper, but i didnt like the scope much so i made a custom one. Pretty much done with the scope now, fine tuning the top receiver panel next.

For the character, i was thinking of a sci-fi, disproportionate, semi stylised alien/humanoid thing, mouthful or what? Hard when i can do characters at all.

Nice models, like the barrett but the end of the barrel should be scaled down width wise. And also,Im not trying to thread jack, but how exactly should i go about going from anim8or/milkshape as my main modeling program to max because you seem to know your way around max. Its very different to me , oh yeah and, Im back everybudy

The end piece is actually more or less that size, it is pretty huge if you look at a reference image. As for helping you into max send me an email sometime, and ill help you out.
