Woot. I wanna get my friend to play so I don't have to play against strangers(plus I got some experience on them so I'll own them ) Can they use my key or they email you? Also what prevents someone from just giving out their keys to like 5 of their friends?

He can't use your key. The server keeps track of the IP addresses, so it's easy to monitor. I can easily ban any key that is shared by two people myself, but I hope to finish some code that will make it auto-ban.

Have him email me at unclesamtgc (at) gmail (dot) com.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and when you're banned, it bans you not just from one server, but from the master server.

Oh, that's fine. Sharing within the same household (which means the same IP) is ok. I'm going to see if I can make it work so that multiple people within the same household can join an internet server too. Right now, you probably can, but since you share the same player name it might cause errors.

EDIT: Spent hours redoing a lot of animations. They are going to look a lot better now. The old ones are just bleh. I'm going to do a lot more tomorrow, while Lemonade finishes the new map.

Alright folks, I finally finished re-animating the soldier! There are still a couple things to tweak/add, but it looks MUCH better strafing now. Also, I added the armor to the game and it looks beautiful:



Lemonade has pretty much finished vegetating the Oasis map, so I just need to take the steps to add it to the game. I'm also going to re-do the way the game loads levels so that when I add new levels you won't have to download all the other levels with it, you will be able to install specific levels.

An update will come very soon, and then we can all try it out.

Don't worry, you won't have to. I'll be hosting a game as soon as everything is working right, then I'll send you guys the update and we can play. I can host a server for the old version if you want, though I'll be AFK. Lemonade and I were just testing the new Oasis map and it is Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppppppppppiiiiiiiiiiiiicccccccccccccc! It's so dense that you can hide anywhere around the water.

New screens coming soon.

EDIT: on second thought, I'll not host right now because it would take a few steps to set my copy to the old version and I don't want to get confused. It won't be long 'till the new version though.

That's the funny thing about this game. Because each player has a key, I can't just upload it for all. Anyone can join, though, they just need to email me at unclesamtgc (at) gmail (dot) com with a callsign they want and I'll make a key for them.

EDIT: Just finished adding the new level system, so that the game auto-detects new maps. Updates and new map packs will therefore be much smaller.

Thanks! The model looks great. Hopefully the texture isn't just an image off of Google images?

You'll have a key before the next version goes out. I'll make you one right away (don't worry, no one's playing right now anyways).

Here's the new Oasis map. It will have a clearer sky and water in the middle soon. The grass is taller than your head, so it's awesome for hiding and ambushing, which we've already tried.

Oh, you don't have to if you are joining someone else's server. All you have to do is click refresh list, then, if there is a server click it and then click join. You only have to forward if you are hosting a server.

Water anyone? Don't let this shot fool you. It's actually a very large area you're looking at, with tall grass everywhere. It takes awhile to walk around it.

Back to real life: Things are almost finished. I've added options for the water quality, and so now I need to find any major bugs that might have sneaked in.

EDIT: And then make an installer patch. Should be less than 70mb.
