That shader is the same (excellent) shader as the original. I just spent a while adjusting the various normal and specular maps to get it looking right. I'll email you the bundle when I get home. I assume the new hands you gave it have their own texture?

Oh and thinking about it the only other thing I didn't mention is that the capacity should be seven rounds, not ten. I think that's a relic from when the gun was a Barrett .50 CAL in a former life.

Setting up lots of fpsc guns can be a tedious, very boring task. Especially when people like me send their rubbish guns over, expecting the rig to be fixed, gun specs to be set and custom sounds to be set.

@sic1ne: Very much alive mate... Guns have been modelled and textured. I'm just waiting on a couple of people to come back from vacation so we can wrap up the pack. I don't have access to the files myself ATM but I've asked my gf to Dropbox them for me so I should be able to do something in the next few days.

@Polo: It's true mate, VERY hard to stay motivated and focused... Takes a LOT of willpower to focus on one pack for this long I'll get it done though

looking back at the models i made for the pack, theyr complete crap compaired at the stuff i can do now haha im hoping the f2000 was one of the re-modelingees i know the wa2000 was one right? well im just saying i feel like whatever i made was crap and i could do ALOT better. thought they were before i knew how to be decent at modeling (in my opinion). i would have better models for you if there were to be a weapon pack 2 or something, i doubt that cause of how long it took for this one, but who know haha anyways im just saying

This thread shall be laid to rest. The pack was on hold over the summer, and I am only now just getting back into modelling and pack-making.

For now the project is on the back-burner as I have multiple examinations coming up, as well as for the fact that most of the weapons do not reflect my current skill set and will have to be re-created.

For all media contributors fear not, the time and effort you put in WILL NOT be in vain. I, Anayar, promise that this pack will be finished and released. Getting a team together at the moment as I realized that trying to finish this myself in simply madness and quite a herculean task.

Anyways, as Ben said, please do not bump this thread any longer. I will create a new thread once I am satisfied that have enough new material to show and once the pack is closer to completion.

Once again I apologize to all for not delivering thus far, but I implore you to remain understanding and please continue to support the pack.

Doing a complete redo of the m92 (considering that I made it a year ago at least)

Here's the wip:


Still got a lot to add, will be handpainting the texture. When I get it finished I'll shoot it over (I might need the rig you have for the weapons).

Ps. Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I just realized that the AK7M is the wrong way around (it should be showing the side visible in the render image).

Cinema 4d and 3d coat render, with handpainted diffuse, normal and specular maps



Fpsc however does not render it as kindly, I am yet to find a shader (I now doubt it's existence) that actually utilizes the specular map and not just the normal map for specularity.

I'm also remaking a weapon, thought I would post what I've got done so far here so people can see this is still alive, slowly but surely...

PP2000 (smoothed, approx 200,000 poly high-detail version. Low poly bake version sits at about 2,200 tri/quad mix right now.)
