Just trying!

Maybe rather then cranking out 4 generic banners in 5 minutes, you can put that time and work into one unique banner?

Please if you guys design a Mod Squad banner let me switch back to my Sludge Vohaul avatar (the blue face guy with the red background) I'm only rooting for the Oilers because they're in the playoffs now

If the mods took a small mugshot of themselves, I could probably whip up some vector portraits and we could have a proper Mod Squad lineup rather then using avatars that change semi-annualy anyway...

(In Rich's case, every 2 weeks)

Just a tiny bit of info for when you people save as .jpg...

Notice that the 'best' option is NOT the default (2x2, 1x1, 1x1) when working with chromasamlping.. (ie color pics) use 1x1, 1x1, 1x1 if it is available in your paint program.

Also, if your paint program has an 'optimizer', that helps allot in previewing the quality vs final file size.

Just my 2 cents, Cheers!

Yep, the joy of Paint Shop Pro 7. The JPG optimizer is pretty good.

In photoshop, I save it as quality 9 - 10... that produces good images and they are not to big.

why mess with the mod squad banners?
plus, Eureka youre missing a bunch of mods methinks. There's two full banners (mod squads 1 and 2) plus there are some new mods. Just make a mod squad 3 banner if you want

I created two very different banners. One with a summer theme

And one sligtly inspired by Terminator™

Thanks man! Compliments like that really help me good since i'm not used to show my work publicly. So if one....just ONE said "hmmm nope, don't like it that much" I'll probably end myself

.......nah, but i do tend to take critizism harder then most people. Anyway i'll probably make two more later and put in some more effort since you Mr Steve J gave me a boost

This thread should be for only posting banners, not critiquing every other one. Rich has already stated that he will pick the best of the bunch to vote on.
