Sorry for the tons of posts

Hollywood, I think Rich means that it has to end at 0,0,0 like fade out. That is what all of the other banners are like from the last compo.

Hi all,
I Gimp'ed some images during the weekend,
so here are my contributions to the community:

This is a bit geeky

This is a bit hot

This is a bit scifi

Same without text (my best I think)

Links for previews:
http://exeat.phpnet.us/Apollo/Dummy.php?Img=http://tachyon.arkku.net/tgc/geek.jpg
http://exeat.phpnet.us/Apollo/Dummy.php?Img=http://tachyon.arkku.net/tgc/hot.jpg

http://exeat.phpnet.us/Apollo/Dummy.php?Img=http://tachyon.arkku.net/tgc/blue.jpg

I didn't use any media to produce these, but thanks for the gimp scripts. I have them without texts if they look better that way. I have attached rar containing these if server goes offline.
EDIT: If only one entry will be allowed, it shall be my last image.

Some of these banners are extremely good (take a bow Mr, Gervais, French Gui, Tinkergirl, Dink and others). I talked to Dave and we're going to set-up the original banner voting system again, and use that to upload what I consider to be the 'finalists' and then you lot can vote on them. Still plenty of time to get designing though, so keep on posting here.

There's no limit on the number of variations you can post, and I don't mind people posting comments about other banners either, but keep it considerate, and on topic. But Megaton was right - please do try and spend longer creating 1 really nice banner, rather than churning out 5 inferiors and posting them all.

Cheers,

Rich

Here is a list of the entries so far (I was extremely bored):

Hope it is useful. I spent a long time on it

Oh, BTW, the *ed ones have problems, like the file size is a kb over the limit, the size is wrong, etc.

I will quickly make an html document with all the images in a minute...
