I think it's time for a new forum banner contest. The last one was really good fun, and we got a load of great looking banners from it. That was ages ago though, so I think another is called for
The 'rules' are simple
1) Your banner must be 459 x 60 pixels in size.
2) It MUST end with pure black on the left hand edge of the banner (#000000)
3) It must be a JPEG (it cannot be animated, or a GIF)
4) Maximum file size is 24KB. I won't be anal about it if your banner is a few bytes over though, but keep 24 in mind.
5)
The deadline is the 25th of June 2006 (it was the 30th, but I changed it to fit around the newsletter release)
6) Nothing offensive. No pr0n, religious matter, etc.
Create your banner, by any means you like. Use the current ones as a source of inspiration - you'll see that we liked both funny and geeky ones.
I will pick a few winners at the end of the month and award some prizes, depending on how many people enter depends on how many I pick, but I'm thinking around 2 or 3 winners, with a copy of something like the DBPro Expansion pack or similar as prizes.
All banners entered that receive at least one vote will go into rotation on the forum (providing they don't break the rules).
