Rick responded to this earlier but Lee already posted about this and, according to him,he is adding x9 compatible stuff to the current version of FPSC as he is implementing them in x10.
You just have to accept that there will be some things that this version of FPSC is not capable of.

I am beginning to see you are limited in what you can do.I think it is amazing how many people blame an enigne because they can't make a game.
When they release the next FPSC source code you can do anything you like with FPSC as long as you have the proper tools, some desire and a little programming knowledge. But I will be sure to tell people like Wetham,Butter fingers,Luke and even myself that FPSC is too limiting and we should stop making games.
We had to wait a long time for the first update to FPSC and using FPSC requires patience. This is a game engine that was designed for a specific purpose and if it doesn't fill your needs you should find another engine. No engine is right for every developer.
Eventually (probably later than sooner) I am going to upgrade and get all of the stuff to run FPSC x10.
If you want an idea of some of the great stuff being made with FPSC check out Locrian and s4's game,Wetham's game or check out some of the stuff Butters is working on.
Luke even released a game called "Darkest Island" in the Showcase forum that is pretty good.
I am aware that the FPSC engine is not for everyone but just to say that FPSC is not a usable engine is nonsense.
I look forward to the continuing development of x9 as well as x10.
