Hey TGC Heroes people. The requested bar graphics have been uploaded, as well as a demo using them <To save coding time>.

And that other thing that was contacted to me through email (Which I assume is "confidential") is being worked on atm. Not in Dark Basic though, I'm building it through C/C++.

Alrighty if you're truly looking for weapons I'll make some suggestions on the forums for you guys.

tha_rami- I want you to to know something, if you put that cube in this game, I will get good with it and make this forum afraid of uber_leetz zombie pwnage...okay smack talk is done.

You guys are really moving ahead on this and its most impressive considering how far we've all come since so many people decided to kick us in the ass *cough you, LB, ruccus,* so keep it up guys and its looking great!

We're not joking if we're saying we're looking for weapons. Beast has pretty huch generated a list of usable models, but additions are always welcome on our forums.

The cube should be in the game, but I ain't sure it'll be playable.

Im gonna start recoding Sven the angry viking and work realy hard for a wip so i can get him into this. Also yesterday i did some animations on him just a simple wlak and atack though. I can upload a pic if you want?.

Btw should the weapons be any general weapons? Or weapons that are featured in TGC WIP's?

Weapons that are in WIP's or finished games are what we are looking for. We especially would like to have weapons that would be similar to weapons used in SSB.

This is an odd request, but does anyone remember anything from RGT? What asheron uses as an icon, or even LLRGT?

RGT, as well as asheron were important parts of my early DBPro learning days, and I have a feeling I'm not alone in that.

Ok. I sent the raiken

Hope you can use it even tough it was rigged in CAT

For moves i can imagine now

1. Slash (a)

Normal attack. Raiken swings with hes sword!

2. Shadow Strike (b)

Magic Spell. Creates darkness portal at front of him and starts shooting dark lasers/beams or whatever

3. Air Attack (jump + a)

Normal air attack. Raiken takes hes sword and swings it to target and starts rolling on air

4. Attack that helps you to predent dropping (SMB. a+up or was it b+up)

Teleports to that direction you wanted to teleport. Note this only teleports certain amount of distance (SMB. Pikachu)

5. Attack that drops your on ground (SMB. a+down or was it b+down)

Takes hes sword and summons fire around the sword. Then raiken just drop fast at ground with sword hitting first at ground (SMB. Link)

6. Dual Strike (Hold B)

When you have been holded certain amount of b button raiken summons another sword and starts slashing like crazy!

7. Slash and Dice ( a + <- or a + -> )

Fast attack perfomed pressing a+<- or a+->

8. Tera Flare (b + a + up Really FAST!)

Summons GIANT dark beam at himself what explodes at end.. Deals huge amount of damage at enemys but after this attack has perfomed raiken is fainted for certain amount of time.

Woah Roxas, you really had time to think about this. The moves aint to bad.

I just remembered that Raiken had a huge sword. I hope he doesnt hurt himself doing these combos.

And considering gameplay, I think during battle there should be more random events. Remember in star fox's stage, that spaceship would randomly come around and shoot whatever it its path...etc.

The random even doesnt exactly has to be an extra enemy but if there was a stage where every say 30 seconds or 1 min. The platforms reconfigure themselves into a new formation. Doesnt have to be all stages, but maybe that one.

So, your enemies or other players aren't the only thing you have to worry about.

I assume by CAT you mean Character Animation Toolkit.
You can't export CAT rigs to .X format.

Also, i like the look of this, i'd be willing to do some random character design if needs be.

Oolite actually you can export..

We tested this with my friend and it worked Well it was the rig only im not sure does it work with the model actually.. but it should if it works with rig only..

But i only sended the model for them not the rig because they couldnt see it anyways..

When i was using it i had to bake down the animations to the rawest form, i could not use any of the IK before breaking it down and the skinning got completely messed up.

Shame, i like CAT.

Yeah.. I havent tried model with cat rig in dbpro only the rig and the rig worked perfectly.. Not sure about model but if thats are your results then its bad thing

Updated some stuff on the new fourms guys...

I just wanted to say I'm so happy to see such a nice following from the community here, I know this would be really fun to show new guys and gals to dbp, and say look, look what was made in it..I mean that could answer the question "can a basic language like db do this?" as well as many other games made by our user's, I don't wanna block out any other games there so sorry if I made it seem like that.

So Kreg and Kez are going to remodelled into 3d? But wont that eliminate the roots of the character. Can't keep them 2D? Like paper mario?

If I recall correctly, some models in SSB didn't really have a 3D representation at first neither, so I guess no - it won't eliminate the roots.

Hmmm I guess not... I just figured the characters were going to be represented based on the WIP's as their original forms. But Im not against having them 3d.

Hahaha, I can imagine a cool TGC Heroes intro (similar to the SSB) where all the characters jump out of individual computer monitors and jump in eachothers levels in monitor and start fights. And then magine Kez jumping out of his monitor into a 3d form, trying to hide in between books and gets stuck complaining about his new waistline...

I dont mind chereographing the intro if there will be one.

I might be able to help out with animating, but what format are the models and would you rather export them as *.dbo or *.x files?

Im not so sure what process you are using. Just offering a hand.

I thought Oolite is doing the animating.

Yeah, you could be an evil character, Picone. But I was also thinking you could be a 'rip'/'shameless plug' (the undecided and speculative terms for pokeball) with your dolphin... What would your character be, and do you have that character available in 3D?

If you could give me some reference art and the original artists permission then yes i could, i can also rig and animate and have enough experience in DBPro to do it so it works.

Heh, in that case it's good. I was just being careful with saying 'we already have someone'. Thanks for signing up to the forums, Oolite. I set you up with 'team' permissions so you should be able to see some more. Basically, every character in the repository needs a walking, jumping and ducking animation at this point.

Im not gonna sighn up on your forum until i have something more to show. Things have been going well enough on my recondign im also using sparkys dll now for it awell so i wa editign some mreo code on the enwly coded game. Im also redesighning the first few levels to make it funner and give teh 2d enviroment a better 3d touch to it.

I could make just those basic walking, jumping and ducking animations in a basic rig, use the same rig for all the different characters of the same type (just with obvious changed proportions), that would be easier to port the animations over to each character and they can all be edited if need be. A rig will have to be created for each type of character though.

I'd also like to give some level design a go, it might not be related to any TGC games that much, but will probably be games design based.

I'm trying to get working on this kez character, but its hard when all you have to work with is this...
