Since the game will have an options menu (not in yet), you can select the arena in which you want to play, the character and the game mode, I'm wondering what else could be chosen. You could put in/leave out items, change colors and stuff like that, but I don't see where that would come off as being real interesting over time. To allow the user to build an arena from scratch goes way beyond the gameplan.
What about having the DBP editor as a backdrop with some code on the screen, the mouse cursor moves automatically over to 'Compile' and the button is clicked. The editor plane then turns back 90 degrees to become a TGC version of the Pokemon arena (no way do I see me doing the smoke puffs and changing arena in-game, though that would be exceptionally cool). The different colored buttons in the Project Summary could be used as platforms.

Thank you very much

I like this idea. Thanks again
[ ** EDIT ** The TGC Newsletter submission probably won't happen anytime soon. We would like to have a demo available before we submit something and the demo isn't expected to be complete until sometime in March, most likely.]
