What happens if a game doesn't get to be finished judging because judges can't find there way out of a maze?

I have no idea i haven't got lost yet though and i've played tonnes of puzzle games. But i might well this time. For the judges if you believe your game may be hard at some areas you could create a sort of text document giving details of how to beat something so we can get passed it and mark the remainder of your level. But if i get stuck i will most likely email you for help before i give a mark.

If you've got any mods. Dont.
Also, try the .dbo and .bin cleaner, that can solve allot of FPSC problems.

Sign me up, The Next. Even if I don't place, I'll still get one of ErrantAI's guns, and that's worth it to me. (do his melee weapons count too?) Time to get cracking.

A question on the judging: Where it says Use of Scripting, does that mean scripts that you have created, or does it refer to any scripts used?

Real shame but ok

@Red Eye
Also a shame but will do so

@Sgt Kennedy
It means scripts made yourself mainly but you will get some points for use of stock scripts just not much.

Thanks, Next.

I also have two questions:

Are we allowed to do alternate history story-lines, as long as its still modern? (i.e. Soviet Union never Collasped)

And by modern horror, that means zombies,right?

And also add my prize offers to the list (4 room segments for first;3 for second;2 for third; and one for a runner-up of my choice. All segments offered by me include normal and specular maps at request.

This sounds like a great contest - great to see a more or less unrestricted field of play, so to speak. Out of curiosity did you ever consider running this without the modern theme, or for that matter any theme? The only reason I ask is that this seems like the perfect contest but the modern theme seems a little limiting. I don't mean any offense, am just genuinely curious as the contest almost seems like an all out free-for-all FPS brawl excepting the limitation of theme. Again, great contest

Sorry for another question on the scripting The Next, but would we get points for using someone else script e.g Meteorite's Night Vision script, but it is an edited version?

If it is edited then you will get points for it yes you MUST ensure that the script creator allows it to be used in contests like this as i dont want any arguments over it but im sure most do allow the use.

I have a question about the rule "Games Must be 100% your own creation." Does this mean that everything has to be made by you in your game. Meaning no stock media, no model packs or anything?

This is very simple it means you cannot take a fpm level made by someone else compile it and say it is your own you must have made the level design yourself. As for custom media you will gain points for adding custom media and scripts but you will not lose points if you dont have any just wont gain the extra ones under the custom media catagory.

Does that all make sense to you.

Yeah, I just wanted to make sure. I don't want to send in a game and then lose because I got disqualified.
