I am making a game called "escape"
basically, you have been captured by terrorists and they have knocked you out and taken you to an underground bunker to be interrogated, but when you wake up you take out the nearest guard and make a break for it!
featuring mp 9 and 10 weapons, along with errant ai's p90, m9 and g36c, (among otherrs) escape is an urban shooter that i hope will do well. (bu hey that's just me it might be cr*p)

What kind of experience is required for a judge? I am new to FPSC, but not to video games. I may add a different view on the judging as personally I think creative use of in-game assets fill a vital role. Creativity is very important IMO, even if the game has horrible graphics. I also believe story is important although not necessary.

Not much is needed at all, you only need to play games and be able to note things you like about them and then give them a score at the end im sure you can do it fi you have a pc that can run FPSC X10.

Well for those of you who are posting screens I would LOVE to give some early feedback being a judge but I cant see most of the screens.

Why can I not see like 90% of the screens on the TGC forums? I run the latest version of Firefox and have amazingly fast internet. Usually get several mbs speed.

hmmmm.... interesting.

i recently had to re-install fps creator (amongst other things)
and i have come across a strange problem.
as usual, i backed up all of my files, then put them back on.
but for some bizarre reson, my "chateau" game has had the texture go very low detail, even on a high setting.
but escape seems to be unaffected, any idea why?

As long as it has the right number of levels and meets all of the specs on the top post a demo is fine.

Yes you qualify if a valid game has been entered i say if the game is valid and i WILL NOT take a look at any of the games until the contest has ended. So you wont get it yet will need to wait.
