Tell them where you put it (script), and what the rest of the scipt is. So they know what should trigger state=1.

That will turn off jump and crouch.

As for the other script, try the edited one below. I'm not sure whether healthless means (less than) or (less than or equal to).

thnx, but still nothing. head got removed, but the zombie lived happily after (well without a head, but he's a zombie, he'll live... no wait... he'll live while being dead). but thnx for trying. i now start to think nobody actually got this to work, but maybe i'm wrong. maybe it's the script, maybe there's a third factor, coz as soon as you state headshot height & damage it get's removed at the first shot. ok i don't know anymore.

that's not a problem because it should do that exactly. if i wanted the head removed with 1 shot i could use a standard appearwithheadshot script, that works with horror mod. but headshotdamage is a command so you can tell how much damage is dealt to the head, so, just like in games like Res Evil, you can script the same gun kills with 2 shots to the head, and 4 to the body, for example. but thnx.
you did not get it to work by other then 1 shot kills (right? otherwise paste your script pretty please). sry you might not have read it, i wrote that in a lot of posts before (not to kill with 1 shot). but thnx for helping, always apreciated

for example, yes. so wether it's headshotdamage=34 (3 shots), or headshotdamage=50, i don't really care, as long as it works, if i have a working one, say with 2 shots, i can then alter it myself. and, of course i tried headshotdamage=50. problem is no matter the damage, the first shot at the head removes the head, i also looked in some HorrorMod scripts, but i have no idea how it's done (the head removal), let allone if i could change it.
i attached a pic a few post ago (page 48), as an example.

I have asked you not long ago if you have time to look at the third person script. If you get it to work for me i'm considering to make another donation.

This is what i need.

1) I need the camera over the left shoulder9 (see example)
2) the crouch/crawl option.

that's IF state=1 AND jumpoff.

crouchoff and jumpoff are actions not conditions. put them in the then part of the sentence

Because of Horror Mods automatic head removal, this is not possible. With 1.0, it is possible though, and very easy to do. Fenix comes with a script called fadecorpseHeadshot, if you give this as the destroy script, and then for the appear script give the appearwithheadshot, but set the headshot damage to half the characters health.

But this is only possible with 1.0?
Because i do not want to use 1.0 unless it's really nessecary, since 1.1 has many improvements over 1.0.
And is this a heashot, or does it include the removal of the head?
*Edit: checked the script, and it seems it does remove the head. still it is very hard to choose, since Horror mod as many kewl features and the extra gore. Man if Horror mod had the option to remove a head only after x ammount of damage to head, especially for a Horror mod (i mean zombies falling like flies after a distance shot of a weak pocket pistol to the head, with the head instantly removed...). And the currency system, if that's not in 1.0 then i dunno annymore, very interesting system. Plus 1.1 has less bugs...

Yes sorry. Is there a complete list where i can compare Fenix 1.0 against 1.1, to decide if it's worth to use that one, for example if it has the currency system and enough nice features, i might use that one for now. Annyone know where 1.0 features are displayed?
*EDIT: Let me rephrase that, does anyone know if all the commands on the first page are thos of Fenix 1.0?

on my comp, bloom starts off running at around 18 FPS in test, but if I hit tab, and then hit "u" and then "x" (or in some order) than it runs at 32-40 fps.

my specs:

intel e8400 core 2 duo @ 3.00 ghz (2 cores)
2 GB RAM
Dual Geforce 9800gt w/ SLI
Windows XP professional 32 bit edition

k. think I finally get it now. the FPS is CAPPED at 20 when bloom is on, hit "X" to uncap it and it runs fine. I get 60 FPS in a small map.

(only works in test)

So Bugsy, if you compiled it to a game, is it capped a 20, or default normal fps?

capped to 20 in a build. perhaps it was an oversight on hockeykids part, because when the framerate is uncapped, and I walk into a bloom zone, there is almost no performance decrease.

and if that is true maybe it is easily fixed. maybe in a future upgrade. i decided to use 1.0 for a while, and learned you
can't have it all, sometimes it's one or the other.

I re-installed many times and cleaned and everything and it doesen't work. Is it possible to have the option to download teh 1.0?

Why do so many people have problems with V1.1?! I have no problem with it! I even have an outdated Intel GMA 915.

Just put all the files in the right place. How many times does it have to be said?

this mod is awesome but it only loads the light qualculation to circa 50 and then its stuck o.o
is this normal or not ?

Im probably doing something wrong, but i added all the files and it gives a standard error: error make a screenshot of this blah blah. I reinstalled fpsc and it worked, when i used the mod again there were troubles again.... i cant run it neither D: i have W7 64 bits

I started out with no problems with this mod and was starting to use it for my next game... Well a problem just pop up during my last few tests and is now getting tiring.

When I run a unmoded fpsc v116, no problems
When I run a moded fpsc v116 - fenix, the screen is black and well see pic that is attached

I uninstalled FPSC and then reinstalled and updated it and run it unmoded, everything was fine. Then I installed Fenix and the problem appears.

What I did, just clicked test game.

Computer Specs:
Windows Vista Home Basic 32 bit
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
2.00 GB Ram

I am not going to search through 62 pages of posts just for an answer.

Well that is by far the oddest bug ever. From your picture I can infer that the camera sync is having "Issues" the text pile up on each other which can only mean the sync is not "deleting" its past renders and or not updating (hence the black screen).

Could you please do me a favor and try a new level with only a few common ground segments for me? This will help me determine if its an object/item in your level that may be triggering something to happen or if the mod is "flat out not working".

Wouldn't you know it. That fixed it. I forgot that I messed around with the fov . What I am curious about now is why the settings never reseted after a complete reinstall of FPSC. Thanks, sometimes it is the most simple of problems that makes everything a pain
