but how would i apply the script like do I just create a script with that command, dropweapon=x, and if I do that what would I do with the script because what I want to do is have a weapon and press a button to drop it and press another to pick it up...so what im saying is how would i apply that script to theplayer? And is it projet blue 1.7 or fenixmod 1.1 that has motion blur?

Oh and which would you prefer, PB 1.7 or fenix 1.1? they both have great features but what i'm really looking for is bloom, shaders, ai, motion blur, and of course a REALLY good frame rate....I would like to see some opions....thanks! and thanks kraven....

Both mods have bloom (though, Project Blue's bloom is better). Only Project Blue has motion blur (and custom shader support). Only Fenix Mod has Dark AI. Both mods are optimized to give you better frame rates, and they both use the same timer system. If you want your game to have a "REALLY good frame rate", don't use full screen shaders.

I personally prefer Fenix Mod over Project Blue at the moment, because of the Dark AI, and a few other features I'm using for my current project. Scriptable weapons and full screen shaders are the only features I regret missing out on away from Project Blue, but I think it's best to avoid using full screen shaders anyway. The extra eye candy isn't worth the sacrifice in performance, IMO.

When you get a chance to read this can you make another scripting command that makes the character unable to crouch. I already made a script that makes you not jump but now I need a nocrouch command.

Check the fenix mod community manual, it has an example script. If I am right you don't need to fade out any of the charactor you apply it to like in PB UM. Just attach the script to the charactor and run the game

Sorry for the double post but there is this very annoying glitch... I can crouch or jump... and no I do not have my Jumpoff and Crouchoff scripts on. It happens sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.

I have the same problem but when i'm trying to jump the player starts to run forward and it dosen't stop.
Is there any guy out there that knows how to fix that problem

afaik the run and jump commands are tied to the standard keys used to activate these abilities. Maybe you have a keyboard with a non-US setting? (I have a problem with my EU keyboard in some games as my "y" is their "z" and the other way round)

That sometimes happens too. Sometimes the player jumps and just gets stuck and I cant move. Sometimes he just slide off the edge of the map. And when he falls off the map you are supposed to die but I just keep falling and falling.

I'm having a bit of a problem: I'm working on a puzzle game that needs the player to lift crates, barrels and boxes and move then all over the level. Since I switched to Fenix Mod, I can no longer lift these (or anything for that matter ) . Is there something I'm missing?

I am having the same problem with a variation: I can lift something ONCE and after releasing it its impossible to lift the same item or anything else (applies to both test and built game)

Well, unfortunately, it seems that this mod does not support D3D9 dll ENB. probably because they already have their own effect bloom.
and unfortunately this effect has been less cool than a miser dll.
I CAN NOT AT ALL, criticize your work.
so I wonder if there is any easier way to totally turn off the effect of bloom without the use of programming, without having to create my own mod, because that would give a gigantic work, which do not have the time of realizing, then ha otherwise ....( and sorry for my rudeness) I would be grateful if someone at least quoted. please!

EDIT: 'm regretting having posted this! will probably give me a scolding for talking such a thing.

Ummm...You have to manually turn on bloom. To turn it off you do...nothing.

@Shadowtroid: you don't get it, when you try to use in the default setings (no bloom) the dll doesn't work too. we are most likely talking about a programation situation, turn of the bloom capability, not just the possibility to turn it on and off. erase it by the mod programation, how do i do that, in a way i don't have to touch the programation... get it ? that is what i wanna know.

(tell me if i am sending it twice i'm with a weird iexplorer error here, i tried to send it before and it appears to doesn't work)

You cannot remove code from a mod unless you have the source to the mod (Fenix Mod is not open source, so the code is not available). Hockeykid would have to compile a second version of Fenix Mod, without the bloom.

by my knowledge of scripting, I'd say the line, state =2, is not working.

you can see your error ;state=2
it shouldn't be :state=2 ?

nevermind, another stupid mistake by ''Gendestroier''

the plr, would drop the weapon, and, no i didn't got to the point of testing the game, i saw my error before. uffffff by god !!! will it be a hell of a waste of time....

You've got the condition there but no action will follow, and leaving the action field blank could result in some errors.

I'm havin some trouble with Fenix... Whenever I place a PlayerStart, it always crashes when I try to test

EDIT: Figured out it happens with ANY entity. Added a screenie.

EDIT2: Fixed it! It was a corrupt install of FPSC. Removed screenie.

does anyone know how i can have like sparks comming out of the ai robot when you shoot it? i remember having the robot spew out sparks but now i forget what i did.
