Update

Bug Fixes

Now all of EAI's Weapons work (freezing animation bug)

Fixed the stock fpsc glitch that allowed ambience to be changed in game (built games)

Even so I rather have it this way. I like setting the ambience for my built games. It prevents people from adjusting the ambience you tried so hard to set.

e.g Zombie or horror game with the user jackin up the ambience to 100.

Yes this is why i fixed it because I felt that to be extremely annoying.

at the moment i'm working on some engine speed ups so stay tuned.

The fix for the real-hard-to-set things in the build game boxes is this: set the ambience to what you want, i.e., 0. Now, DO NOT click ok. Click on another box, you dont have to change anything, then click ok.
Ta-Da! it works with one try now!

static=x perhaps? I try and condense my commands as much as possible, then you can do static=1 or static=0.

Although static=0 wouldnt work because a static object would be running a script now would it

Well if you settarget, then you wouldnt need to provide a target name in that command. Besides, you could just attach the script to a random invincible dynamic item

i was just making an example, but my idea is to have more commands and conditions that affect specified entities. and besides, a lot of the Fenix Mod features are towards the player so this would give more variety, but once again this is just me rambling

That wouldn't be possible as static objects are permanent parts of the level geometry and cannot do anything else but.

What about lightmapping? It'd either have no shadows, or would have to wait ages to re-lightmap...

Then again frame rates would be terrible.

You don't understand. When FPSC compiles and runs a level, it takes every single static entity and segment and combines it all into one mesh and then lightmaps it. You can't just turn a dynamic entity into a true static entity because of that process.

Yes that is 100% correct making a command like static=x would make the whole entire level dynamic.

got a few bugs ATM, im running fenix mod while i wait for an update for WASP, 1. if i have no ammo, and hold shoot on EAI GCS weapons, it cycles random animations, 2. if i try to create an arena, fpsc crashes on test game (debug info 0:0)

It did it on the p90 and the g36, im about to test the m249, hangon

Hmm well I did fix a problem with errants meele weapons, i wonder if it fixed it for the guns too. I have model pack 9 does it happen with any of those weapons?
