Well Guys, I fix ALL bugs. But if you place characters or weapons this desappear "because of the deferred shading",if someone finds a solution, there have msn down.

Added new things:

-You can select the max fps from setup.ini
-Because of the fastsync command the hud appear and desappear. Now you can select fastsync on or off, but you remember if the fastsync desactivated the performance is low to 45-60 fps.
-You can select the amount of clouds. for example 0 to 30 from setup.ini.
-You can select the ToD system Faster, Slow or static.
And much more for comming..

Yeah, Now added more things:

-you can change the ambient (R G B)
-you can select the water height of default.
-More Performance 90% Fixed.
-you can select the water Fog.
-you can change the directional range and the directional quality.
-you can change the limb far.

I tried out the test level but had an issue where the depth of field effect was on by default and it was diffcult to get proper focus on anything. Also I believe for depth of field all objects should pass z depth information from their shader to the full screen shader otherwise you get the same amount of blur applied to the entire scene.

The segment shaders look fantastic and the overall quality of graphics in the level are really good as a result.

I think you need to work on getting weapons and characters fixed before doing too much more on the effects front but when you do this will be one hell of a mod.

Oh the lighting looks very impressive also.

If you look up on the water change to fresnel is a big problem with the mod, now I working on fresnel static

Yes I know, I not working on depth of field now. this demo level is 23/01..

Yeah, In other version maybe you can use characters and weapons, but now I can't fix this bug

Yes, remove the depth of field effect unless you can make it so its only used when the player is using ironsights or picking up an item otherwise it just looks like you need to find a pair of glasses.

The segment shaders, dynamic shadows and lighting you have alone make this mod look spectacular. Just focus on refining those and getting guns / characters working.

Seeing as the Corvus source is open you might be able to get some help with the guns and character fixes as this mod has a lot of potential.

I agree with NS, the depth of field should probably be reduced so little to where only if an object is within a few "inches" or in game "feet" of the player camera then it should be active, for such as iron sights.

Any one run this on Windows7, 1.15 runs fine, CorVus complains about mfc7.1 not installed(already knew about this just have not installed the vc++ redist package) The Xara mod does not run at all. I check the windows app log and it provided nothing usefull.

This is coming out nicely!
Will this still be released the 1th of Feb? Or are you planning on improving it and trying to get rid of the bugs?
Or maybe continuing on the mod after you released it?

Whatever you choose this is a really nice mod! I have been waiting for this mod since it first came out.

Do you have any plans on integrate any other mod with this one?
Or adding some more scripting commands?

I just cant get the point with the water.
It works perfectly in CorVus Mod and it should also work in your Mod so I can not get the point of telling everyone that you want to fix anything related to it.

The Caustics are working, reflection and refraction are working perfectly, so what the matter?!?

Otherwise the performance has done a good step forward and I know the problem with the characters and guns, but also have no idea how you could fix it.
And I think you really should "delete" the DoF effect, as I dont like it anymore
Its a nice effect if using ironsight, but nothing more.
And it is possible to only have DoF with a gun in ironsight, by changing the amount of the DoF! You can pass values to the shader manually and than set the blur amount to 0 and the normal value. Than maybe change the focus a bit and that should do the trick.

But please tell me, whats the matter with the water you are working on. Can not see any difference at all to the normal CorVus Mod water!

Yes, but the Ironsight working really bad and with bugs.

My modification is not a big change, I change the fresnel water, And maybe I can add a commands for you select the water ocean or fresnel.

guys, to fix the Enemy/Weapon Bug, you have to able to get every segment limb without reloading the universe.dbo, like I did it (and Kill3r7 also, because its the same source!).

Because the normal universe.dbo is loaded as a static universe, which is deleted manually, the Enemys do not work.
I thought they should, because the PhysicsObject is still present, but the footsteps and Enemy need the normal Universe.

But this was always a big problem.
If you can fix this, this will fix a lot of bugs I think!

You would get Sounds by walking over something, working Enemys with shadows, etc.

The 1° february release is NOT the final, is the 1.5 version the version final is 2.1

if you remember you can recorder I dont know much dbpro, the LOD system is not the best, for give a best performance in a big map you need create lines for the lod system for desappear the objects for dont show Up if the player not view Like HL2. The test game not working, because of this error "object not found at line..." error texture flashlight, if you can help me I can fix this problem

Maybe but I'm not sure, my work seriously at all, others directly copied my code and many would not give the credits, those who will prefer to make a Xara modification the best mod, contact me by msn if I want help or something.

More quality of lights.
