Its going to take a lot of work to get this mod into a really usable state.

I think you need to prioritise where your development effort is going and fix the most important bugs like guns / character / frame rate etc to provide something stable before going any further with graphics enhancements.

People will probably start getting a bit more excited about this mod once its actually possible to make something playable with it. Having 100 features means nothing if they are all broken and you cant actually play a game.

Come up with a priority list of bug fixes and work through them to get something stable together. Unless you get the basics sorted out whats the point of putting out another demo in a couple of weeks.

Well, the problems with needed fix:

Characters (universe.dbo destroyed).
Guns work but really fast (universe.dbo destroyed).
Player fast (universe.dbo destroyed).

If any have other problem repor to me.

Problems fixed Now:

Test Game.
Performance.
Guns.
LoD system.
dynamic lighting (some problems)


Added support for:

SSAO Blur.
Bloom (Eye adaption).
Other new ToD system.
2 skybox for select.
Specular Power on Parallax.
Command max_fps (X) for select the Frame rate Cap.
Color correction.



Other new demo level for comming, Not now because I haven't ideas ^^. If any can make a level for me I appreciate


Note: The universe.dbo need destroyed because if not destroy the textures torned to corrupt. (2 Layers of textures).

If I can get the universe normal to work, I can fix every problems.

Edit: Screen of SSAO Blur on segments and entitys (Quality and size of the image resize to 1024x768)

You should add some illumination map support to your surface shaders. I can't stand seeing a lightsource that is not lit up. Such as lamps on desks.

But, my main concern here is the fact that you've continued work on other areas without first fixing the problems that many people have pointed out.

Btw, I meant no ill will towards you for where you come from. I had no clue where you were from because I don't look at the Location status of people. Most people put something weird there anyway.

Yeah^^, I try now to use the normal universe, but I think I need a week for fix, because the normal mapping and parallax need other universe, I see I can do Now.

Edit: Screen of if the universe.dbo its not destroyed (That's The problem).



Now Understand about the universe.dbo, the velocity and others?

There is no way to fix this, thats the reason why Darkgoblin used the "Chop up limbs" method in the first place.

Kill3r7 I have an Idea to make this mod better.

You should integrate this mod with the latest version of airmod. That way people can edit the gunspecs and have aiming in this mod.

I Back . Good news.
The lighting has been repaired see this:
Quality and image size change to 1024x768 (1920x1080 original).



8th of march I start the School, Then I have only a week and 1 day ^^ for finish the new release: 1.6.5c for you.
For now the chars, player fast """"bug""" its not possible to repair because I need hide the normal Universe in Dbpro.
Of course In a new demo level "metro theatr" you can view the new effects and the performance in a medium-big map.

Well People the new updates:

Added timer system.
Airmod 0.5 integration (Airmod 0.6 tomorrow)
More performance.
NO MORE FAST PLAYER.!!
Weapons Repaired and now work perfect.!!

Hmm...My only problem with this is, does it require certain images for everything?

Like, does everything need a normal map, specular map, etc?

The normal map or anything textures its not necessary, the mod have a shader "diffuse" for use the older textures.

The new update
Added:
New Water (3D Render in real time (With LoD system))
See this^^:
Quality and size changed to 1024x768 (1920x1080 original)



New Point.fx, With some differences than default, added Specular Power for Parallax, and the shadows map has been changed.

New Spot.fx, Too for add Specular power Reflection, The shadows map has been changed,With more realism Too.
The GlowH and V.fx has been changed for more realism and better Adaption.
Parallax mapping for dynamics objects are in construction (The game crashes with the 20 lines).
Water Color changed to.. Ocean realism (For me its good )
And Some things are in secret for now...

Also, last time I tried the release you gave it gave me an error...Ever after I uninstalled the mod. Does the mod leave any files that could interfere with regular FPSC?

In the first page, in the demo level you have de folders "files", "shaders" and the files noheight.tga and nonormal.tga.
For use in your games the other release.
You can try the demo level, if you have the problem "the display 32 bits its not supported"
you need change the resolution in the setup.ini file.

This water its not of Dark goblin. Create by Evolved, and edited the things for more realism by me .

In the demo level of the fist page you have the files for run the other release of the first page. In the new Release I add the New Folders and files, with the new water, etc.

btw something you should try to integrate is thraxes ragdoll thingy.

also i tried to use your mod and i went to test and i got some error. anyway i think you updated it so should i try agian?

the "thing" its not of thraxas ^^, its a new ODE by Lee , I can add the mod in the source code of the ragdolls, But I hope the source code of the final release, because its a long process ^^.

Download the demo level, Enter in setup.ini and change water=1 to 0, depthoffield=1 to 0, if you have the problem "the display 32 bits its not supported at line.. or something"[i] you need change the resolution in the setup.ini file [/i]

Hey, why don't you make all of your download stuff into a zip file, so they need only extract it inside of their FPS Creator folder and all of the stuff gets put into its proper place without them having to figure it out? ... Or is it already like that? (Haven't downloaded this)


Just wondering why people are having those problems when they shouldn't be.

I was say, The older stuff are in the demo level, Because my internet its slow some days and I can't upload. In the new Release of 12th march I upload all files, stuff, exe and others for use in other games or something.

A bad notice: My hard disk has been crash the 90%, of course I have a copy of the source code in my PenDrive, I'm in the other disk (80gb).

I have all rights, The shaders from Evolved are free to use and modify etc. I modify the water Fog, The scale, and all things for more realism.

I add commands for change the color of the water, If you want use Ocean water, or Default.

Added Auto-Resolution For Editor and others (Like Efx mod).
Motion blur Has been UP.

I think You can get more than 120fps in a medium map . of course you can try the demo level Tomorrow
