Favorite character?

And she's my favorite from the main 6, but Sweetie Belle is my real favorite!

Yeah that showed a really sucky part of Rarity.

And I don't hate her hate her, but she's definitely one of my least favorite characters. Applejack might be below her.

And if Suited for Success was my only source, she would certainly be up there.

Apple Bloom's voice > Applejack.

Southern kid accent is cute.

And yeh, I love Twilight as a kid, because she was awesome even then.

Oh Wow, gotta post this:

http://www.reddit.com/r/mylittlepony/comments/ihkfi/the_george_lucas_paradox_or_why_lauren_faust/

It made me think, after I saw that the guy that worked on Dexter's Lab worked on this! Also many other things Faust wanted changed or removed that, despite all that I appreciate about her contribution, would've made the series worse IMO. For their part, Hasbro actually made some good decisions.

In that document CG posted, it said that Lauren Frost wanted the Cutie Mark Crusaders (CMC) to have their own spinoff show, but in many other ways along with this the show went in a direction she didn't want it to, like Lauren Frost wanted more adventuring like in the first two episodes. The guy who wrote this said it was good it went the other way, and I'm saying I would have loved a CMC spinoff show.

Also, did you know Apple Bloom's voice is done by the same person who does Sweetie Belle's singing voice? Michelle Creber? Huh? Huh?

hah no i certanly didnt know that^^

and: i would also love CMC to have a spinoff show: as long as it wouldnt take time from the main show -> which it probably would.

about the adventuring, i wouldnt mind that: but i would love it to be a side thingy, like every 10 episode (EXAMPLE) they would go on a 2-3 episode adventure.

and for the record, I am a man.

Yeah, but in the end, we just want MORE adventures are a nice mix-it-up addition though.

I like episode 9 , but I treat all ponies equally, you shouldn't pick favorites. Learn from the show's lessons I don't think that one's in there though... XD

No Ticket Master's episode 3...episode 9 is....Bridle Gossip. Awesome because Flutterguy.

I prefer the way the show is now. I.e., episodes are relatively self-contained, but with little continuity nods. E.g., Twilight mentioning Zecora in Stare Master. Hasbro wanted it to be so that anyone can watch any episode at random and not need to watch them in order.

Also I posted that link because I agree that while Lauren Faust deserves oodles of praise, she wasn't the only reason this show is so good. You look at the subtle detail in the animation, the way the voice actors breathe life into their characters, and the clever music and writing.

You can see that everyone on the team actually enjoys their creativity in this show, and it shows in the quality. Daniel Infram responded to a Q&A about the background music he does throughout the show, several animators have been known to comment on Youtube videos thanking the brony community. It's this give-and-take between the community and the creators that's so awesome. It's kinda like TF2, where Valve works closely with the community, releasing updates 4 years after release when all the good money has gone. It makes you feel like they care, essentially.

Also my second chapter of my fanfic got approved. And more brony tears were shed.

@Swissolo

Well, they can't still be making any major amount of sales. I mean, do you see Inifity Ward updating CoD 4 anywhere near as much, if at all? Released in the same year if memory serves me well, but while they made a sequel, Valve expanded the original to ungodly levels of awesome.

I challenge you all to read through both chapters:

http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/06/story-i-wont-see-you-tonight.html

Apparently it gets quite intense for some bronies, curious if TGC bronies are tougher.

I loved it. I teared up but never cried, and it's certainly not too intense.

I would love to be a proofreader. Do I need to formally apply?

Oh no, you can just Email me. Otherwise I'll end up forgetting.

I only have two atm, but they've been really helpful with grammar and story flow, especially as one has read every fanfic on the site. (Best kind proof reader IMO.)

I hardly ever go on Equestria Daily but I have MILLIOOOOONS of experience with writing, especially sad stories.

My first essay in 5th grade was about an alcohol that killed his dead when he was drinking and driving, and how he finally got his mom to forgive him. I got an A because the lesson is not to drink and drive :3.

Wow. In high school we never got the opportunity to write freely. I mean, our one creative writing assessment for our GCSEs was to write a story based on this Beatles song I ended up despising due to how terrible/limiting it was.

CG... The Mann co store That's the reason for the great tf2 expansion. But good luck with the proof-readering! I'll read it soon but need a bit more time.

Oh I'm well aware that Valve make money from the Mann Co store. Just that it's nowhere near the cash injection they'd have got from the initial sales.

I mean that most companies just take your money, throw you a game that lasts a few hours, then demands you buy the sequel for more. Games like Left4Dead showed me that Valve want to make lasting games, whereas other companies aim for a quick buck and the odd bit of DLC and updating.

I know! There was that huge fight over 100x100 avatars, but the mods denied it. How about a comprimise of 75x75? I think there's room over there right now for that anyways. Your avatar seems to have jagged edges at this res.

Oh God that is a beautiful pic of the heavy.

http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/07/theres-pony-for-that.html

Also this is why I love the creation team. Puregenius, and if you look carefully, there's an Equestria Daily app there. It's these fandom nods that're pure awesomeness.
