Well;
I did give it a shot, but found many, many problems:
Lots of extra work for me; it wouldn't be easy the way my game is coded.
Sticking a big load of code into the program, adding to it's size unneccesarily and slowing it down.
"Pre rendering" them allows for more explosions and effects than a "real time" version
I can load different scenes, instantly in a WMV intro
I can use fades and disolves
A WMV file will play at the same speed on all computers, music will always be in time etc... If it were coded, it may slow down on some bits and the sound would go out of sync for a moment etc...
A lot of reasons - coding it is just not suitable for this project.
The films should now add about 7mb to the file size. That's a bit better
The full games file size shouldn't top 30mb.
